Keiiji was no longer staring at Charla, so hadn't caught her glare. Though wouldn't have mattered or down anything to him, if he had. With his mouth still covering most of his face, though after his quick cover to keep the grotesque looking scars from Alyssa's view, he doubted the scars on his cheek were completely covered now. He spoke to the point. "Keiiji." It was slightly meant for Alyssa to, as the nickname she had called him by was foreign to him. "If we're going to raid the food together, may as well swap names. Not life long stories. Or do you prefer a code name?" Though it was clear he was addressing Charla, he was staring at Alyssa, and including her in his words as well.

Not sure what else to do, Alyssa walked closer to join the other two cats. Clearly Keiiji wasn't worried by the strange queen, so Aly decided she wouldn't let it bother her either. After Keiiji introduced himself to Charla (and it was completely lost on Aly that he was trying to correct her version of his name), Aly pointed to herself in turn. "Alyssa." She'd thought of using a code name - even the one she'd just thought of earlier - but decided it wasn't necessary in this situation. She also couldn't help but giggle slightly - whenever people introduced themselves using only one word, she always thought of the human story of Tarzan. "And you?" she asked, looking expectantly at Charla.

She quirked at brow at the life long story comment. Well that was an odd think to comment on, Charla couldn't even remember a cat launching into their life story upon meeting and now wondered how different it would be here if someone actively commented against it. Keiiji and Alyssa. Charla nodded to herself as she mentally went over the names of cats who she knew in London weren't to be trusted, and neither of the names felt familiar to her which went a considerable way in allowing her to be rather relaxed with the situation. "Charla."

Keiiji was staring at the window. He maneuvered to the edge of the dumpster beside Charla. "After you Alyssa." He spoke. Though had a double meaning, that he guessed she wouldn't pick up on. But she didn't need to. He didn't need to trust or distrust others he ran into, mainly because he knew how to defend himself if it ever came down to it. Having Alyssa go first, he could watch her back, just in case Charla was a hostile cat. His tail hung over the side of the dumpster, and he cocked his head, only a smidgen to the side. His only indicator of inviting Alyssa to join them on the dumpster.

Alyssa blinked in surprise. Had Keiiji just told her to go first? Seeing as she was the newbie here who had no clue what she was doing, she'd expected him to be more...well, stern and bossy. 'Follow me, do whatever I do, don't do anything stupid, don't lag behind,' etc. The fact that he actually trusted her to go in first made her beam just slightly. Maybe she was cut out for this kind of thing after all, and just didn't know it. "Right, sure." Without further ado, she hopped up onto the dumpster and made her way towards the window.

The gray queen watched as Alyssa made her way to the window, much more comfortable that she'd not be going first. In fact she'd much rather go last, as while the two cats didn't seem to be hostile Charla wasn't comfortable with the idea of being between the two cats. So instead she gave Keiiji a slight smile and gestured for to go ahead, "After you." Despite the smile there was a slightly sharper tone in her voice, that usually tended to work for her in situations. Charla just hoped he wouldn't attempt to put her between himself and Alyssa, so far the cats seemed nice and she was hoping to keep from her usual mask slipping into place. When the queen became more brazen she didn't always play so well with others.

Keiiji had watched Alyssa with sharp eyes, but aside from a slight change to his pupils, and the outline of his eyes narrowing at the window, there were no visible signs to his outward emotions. Even when Charla had asked him to go first, nothing changed. His back was tensed, but he didn't mind placing himself into a vulnerable position to this newer cat. Even if she made the first move, he could still defend himself. Training demanded it of him. He grunted a small reply,"Sure." He moved, then with his hind legs giving him most of the push, he jumped to the window and slipped in with ease. His eyes surveyed inside, before he pushed the glass open, gesturing for Alyssa to join him inside, and then jumping into the room himself. Landing onto the floor, he kept himself down there, in case either of the queens wanted a hand...or a soft landing. Wouldn't be the first time a queen, or a tom jumped down and landed ungracefully onto his back.

Alyssa's heartrate increased just slightly as she got ready to go inside. It felt strange, and a little scary, to be sneaking into a human's place like this. Almost like she was doing something bad, betraying the humans she had lived with most of her life. But, she thought, giving herself a little shake, that was ridiculous. She owed humans nothing, and who would care about a few baked goods anyway? Humans were too fat as it was. Besides, this would be fun. She returned to the task at paw: getting through the window. She jumped up and reached the pane, but had to scramble quite a bit to climb over and through. Once inside, she could hardly see anything in the dim exterior of the shop. But she let go, hoping the floor wasn't too far down. She bounced off of Keiiji's back, landing awkwardly on the floor beside him. She sat there, stunned, for a moment, then collapsed into giggles. Right then and there she decided she liked jumping/falling off of things. "Sorry," she whispered, looking around as if expecting a human to appear. "That was crazy fun!"

Well, that had been simple. Charla was actually mildly surprised with the ease of getting Keiiji to go before her. She watched as he and Alyssa disappeared through the window, taking a moment to savour the feeling of optimism stirring before the queen's normal pessimism could show its face. She sprung up to the window and jumped down, landing lightly beside Keiiji. The gray queen may not feel the need to be constnatly watching her back around these two but that did not mean she felt comfortable even to land on the tom's back. It helped that Charla didn't quite need to either. The bakery smelt even better now that they were in it, and Charla inhaled appreciatively and took in the sweet smells. "Any desserts you two had in mind specifically for the break in?" She asked once again concentrating on the cats in front of her. If this was an indication to the other cats she'd meet in London, then her decision to leave her family for the city was definitely celebratory.

The orange tabby tom did grit his teeth slightly when he felt the weight of Alyssa jumped down onto her back before she got onto the bakery floor. Not long afterwards, Charla jumped down beside him. His eyes kept trained on Alyssa though. She was part of the tribe he resided in, and as such he had a duty to keep his tribesmen safe. He strutted down an aisle of the store , as he looked around. "Don't have much of a sweet tooth. It was Alyssa's choice to break in here." And that's all he intended to say about the matter. As it was Alyssa's idea, so he figured she had a specific reason for a bakery.
((Sorry for the wait. And its meh quality.))

Alyssa moved around slowly and cautiously at first. Then, as the moments passed with no humans appearing, she began to grow more confident. Dashing down the aisle, she passed Keiiji and stopped a few feet ahead of him, examining the items on the shelf. She heard Charla and Keiiji discussing what sweets they were looking for, then got slightly annoyed as Keiiji pinned it on her to choose. She had no experience in these things, and it had been his idea to break in anywhere at all! For a moment she thought about turning around and telling them both so, but instead decided to just wing it. Grabbing the first thing she could reach - a bag of cinnamon buns - she held it up. "This looks good, yeah?"

Charla had been surveying the baked goods at the end of the aisle, while she scented no humans near that didn't mean she especially wanted to stray too far from their exit. She also realized that while the three of them seemed to be rather hospitable at the moment that they may be able to tell her about the Jellicle tribe she'd heard about in the city. Just now Charla needed a way to bring that up in conversation so it didn't come out of left field. In her musings she'd been staring particularly hard at the brownies in front of her until she heard Alyssa's question. Peeking further down the aisle Charla looked at the bag, "Well I've never had those before."

Keiiji studied Alyssa carefully as she ran by him. However, he saw some of the pastries on top of a glass display and he was mid-jump when Alyssa grabbed cinnamon rolls and proclaimed them as such. Once he was on the top in between some loafs of bread, he picked over side. "Eat a sample. If you like them, then we can take it with us." Turning back around he spotted the vanilla pastry and called down to them both. "Do either of you like vanilla?" Keiiji was surveying the pastry again. There was thick vanilla cream sandwiched between thin vanilla cookies and a bit of vanilla frosting lopped on top. Even for Keiiji, it looked to be very delicious.

Alyssa didn't need to be told twice! Eagerly, she tore into the bag (though leaving it intact enough that they could manage it if they decided to carry it with them) and pulled out one of the sweet rolls. Pulling it apart into two halves, she went over to Charla, intending to offer her one half while she herself tasted the other. Aly's face looked thoughtful for a moment, then lit up as one of the most amazing things she had ever tasted engulfed her senses. "Try it, try it, try it!" she exclaimed, now practically shoving the other piece of roll in Charla's face. She glanced up, hearing Keiiji say something about 'vanilla.' "Huh? What's that? Never mind, who cares, throw it down here, we'll try it, it's probably amazing!" she said in one breath.

The excitement on Alyssa's face as she tasted the cinnamon role made Charla smile, until surprise took over her face as the other half of the cinnamon role was suddenly shoved towards her. Maybe giving Alyssa sugar wasn't the smartest idea while confined inside the bakery. The queen just hoped nothing would get broken or toppled to alarm and humans close enough to hear them. She took a bite and savoured the taste. Alyssa was definitely right, they were absolutely amazing! Her ears perked up at vanilla, now that was something Charla knew was fantastic. "Vanilla is one of my favourites."
