Keiiji wasted no time bending down and slipping through the hole in the yards borders. One of his clothes, the one tied around his bicep had snagged and tore off in the process. He grabbed it as soon as he was on the other side and stood up, waiting for her to join him. He stood to the side, giving a hard stare at the grotesque and jagged scar along his bicep. The wound had been so deep at the time, that his fur never grew back in that area. In fact all of his scars were quite visible. "True enough. Though nights are chilly." He spoke, then hooking one of his fingers in the sash around his face, he pulled it down. It rested across his neck, almost appearing to look like a scarf now. With his teeth, and his free paw, he wrapped the cloth around his uncovered bicep and retied it. There were scars on his face as well that were now in visibility. Two across his cheek, that usually were covered with the sash, and one on his bottom lip, going down almost to his chin. Satisfied with the knot, he recovered his face, and looked off towards the nearest street. "There's on down that street, on the first corner. Its maybe a seven minute walk."
((Less confusion it is then. ^^))

Alyssa caught up with Keiiji, then waited for him as he adjusted his cloths. She thought nothing of watching him, as she had little concept of rudeness, except when someone got upset and she wanted to appease them. Besides, the thought that the cloths might be covering up anything never occurred to her; she figured he wore them because he liked to - for fashion or something, just like they'd been talking about a minute ago. So, when she chanced to get a glimpse of one of the scars, her eyes nearly bugged out of her head. For once, she was momentarily at a loss for words, and followed Keiiji quietly for a few steps, only speaking to say "Oh, goody," when he explained how short a walk it was to the bakery. Then her mind went back to what she'd seen. She wasn't horrified or scared by it, but fascinated and...well, incredulous. She'd never seen injuries like that and could hardly believe they were even possible. "Who'd you pick a fight with?" she asked finally. She wasn't joking or fooling around for once, but actually wanted to know. What could do that to someone? Sure, people got beat up like that and worse in books and movies, but in real life?

Keiiji began to lead the way, more interested in grabbing some food, and look around to see what else might be valuable within the Bakery. One of his side jobs was for supplies, though they had been specific. Still, he knew bakery goods wouldn't last long enough to be valuable supplies for the grey and old tom who had requested his help. So if he found anything practical within the store, while on their adventure, then it'd be less work for him later. When she asked her question in a more serious tone then he was use to hearing from Alyssa, despite having only known her for fifteen to thirty minutes, or so, his feet stopped. He didn't quite show her a reaction or emotion, but he did look beside him at Alyssa, and raise an eyebrow up enough to show her his version of confusion. "No one. Why do you ask?"

Alyssa stopped just short of bumping into Keiiji. Well, clearly he was lying. Unless he could've been born that way, a deformity or something; she'd heard of that happening to humans, maybe it could be the same with cats. But of course he wasn't obligated to spill his guts to her or anything, and it might make things get all boring and serious anyway. Though he hadn't angrily told her to go away...if he happened to satisfy her curiosity even slightly, she wouldn't mind... "No reason," she shrugged, "only I thought your arm maybe was injured. Guess I'm not seeing straight in the dark."

Keiiji continued walking after his initial ...surprise? of her question. He wasn't lying, he had never picked a fight. Others picked them for him, sometimes. He himself had never intentionally started a fight, and with someone else paying him to, the intent lied with them, not with him. But there were some other scars that...to be frank, he couldn't remember where or how he got them, and the fact that she hadn't specified on one scar, he didn't feel obligated in telling her. All his scars were from different events. At her next words, he replied quite bluntly, without any emotion to express if the topic had a negative or positive effect on him. "It was...years ago. Its a scar now." He had no objections talking about his scars, to an extent, not that Alyssa needed details, she'd probably be satisfied with just a sugarcoated version of events that led to some of his scars. However, he did find it odd that the queen would rather focus on a more serious subject. Granted he didn't know her well enough to judge what she was like.

Alyssa nodded, meanwhile a million different scenarios were rushing through her mind. She wasn't morbid, far from it. But she loved a good story, and this sounded like a good story if there ever was one. But whether Keiiji was willing to tell it, she didn't know, and she didn't want to spoil their fun trip to the bakery. Speaking of which... Sniffing at the air, she could smell all sorts of wonderful scents wafting towards them. "I think we must be getting close," she said cheerily, breathing deeply to get all the pleasant odors. Scar stories could wait; there was food to be had.

Keiiji's tail flicked in a mimicry of a head nod, as he replied. "We'll head around back. There's usually a window high on the building that never gets locked. Not to mention a conveniently placed dumpster out back that we can use to get to the window." His voice didn't give anything away, nor did his body posture. He did motion to the slim narrow pathway to the left, indicating where the back path was. "There. Come on."

Alyssa followed Keiiji toward the pathway. Instinctively, she started tiptoeing, treading as quietly as possible. Even though he'd said there probably wouldn't be anyone manning the shop at this hour, she still felt the need to be stealthy. Well, stealthy for her anyway; her pawsteps were normally quite loud and heavy - now they just sounded more normal. This was all so exhilarating! "I never sneaked in anywhere before," she said in a loud whisper. "Anything I should know before we go in?"

Charla had been making her way through the city, already feeling much more comfortable than she had been in the countryside on her way to London. The gray queen had been making her way to a wonderful smelling bakery, hoping for something sweet and sugary as a small celebratory treat to having actually made it to London without too much trouble and without running into any familiar cats. Now she just needed to find the tribe she'd heard so much about.
As she got herself positioned on the dumpster that would offer a way to the window to get in Charla heard a feline voice and paused. "Speaking quietly usually helps." She commented in response to the loud whisper, her tone slightly dry and Charla internally struggled with her usual mask of brazen sarcasm and her actual disposition.

Keiiji studied Alyssa as she became more quiet then she had been previously. It wasn't perfect, and had he been more in tune with his emotions, he'd most likely have facepalmed there. However, he did see some potential in her, but a professional sneak was no doubt lower in her list of things to become. He would teach, his train of thought was interrupted when he had scented a new smell, one he hadn't smelled before. He had become use to the smells around London, including the strays that tended to wonder-day and night. They tended to blend together, but this was new. He took two steps back, to the corner of the building. Hidden in shadows, unseen. Moving swiftly, he got into a position behind Charla; her voice betraying her own position. Upon first sight of her, he determined she wouldn't openly attack his companion. With his own low voice he spoke, from just behind her shoulder. "That's good advice." His voice was stoic and serious, as usual, and his caramel eyes glanced at Charla briefly. "Guess we're breaking in together."
((Hope you don't mind Keiiji being a sneak.))

Alyssa looked around, startled, hearing a voice nearby. "Hey, who's that?" she demanded, forgetting to whisper, "and where are you? Can't you see we're in the middle of something he--" Finally she spotted Charla already up on the dumpster. "Hey, Kej," she said, whispering again, "someone's already beat us to..." Then she noticed that he had disappeared. For a moment, she thought he'd abandoned her and that she'd been right about her earlier suspicions of this being some kind of prank or hazing. But then she heard him speaking behind the other cat, saying they were breaking in together. "Oh. Uh...we are?" Aly hated how dumb and confused she sounded. "I mean...yeah, we are!" She glanced between Charla and the spot in the shadows where Keiiji must be, wondering if Charla would attack them or agree to work together.

Charla watched slightly amused as the other queen's surprise registered on her face. She happened intended to give the other cat quite that much of a startle. Although the second that she referred to another cat, Charla cursed to herself for having not scenting another cat present. That usually helped in situations like this. Upon hearing the tom speak, she spun around to face him. The surprise of him having gotten so close unwittingly prompted her posture to change, to suddenly hold herself in a much more confident and noticeable stance. She leveled a slight glare at Keiiji and silently raised an eyebrow. At their declaration her gaze flitted back to Alyssa and softened as Charla visibly relaxed more at ease that they at least for now weren't about to attack. "It seems we are. More paws can take more things."
