The day had worn on the dark queen, between the normal commotion of the Yard, finding out about missing queens and the newer and much higher energy Jellicles she’d just met Electra needed to breathe away from the Junkyard. Just for a little while. The energy levels of so many of the cats tended to wear on her after a while, the craziness and chaos of everything constantly go, go, going.
Naturally there were those who’d have contested her idea of heading into the city along but Lecky needed the break. So she’s made sure no one saw her leaving the Yard. And later the dark queen would return much the same way, silently and unnoticed. Sometimes being the quieter queen was quite advantageous, others often assumed you were around when you wanted to be gone because they were used to not hearing you. And if she suddenly popped back up, it was usually assumed that Electra had been there the entire time.
So the queen was taking quite the contented stroll through the city.

Stumbling down the street, Otrox for once was not drunk. He usually went down to that particular section of the city to have a break from life in the warehouse, and to socialize where no one knew him or his reputation. But the injuries he had sustained were still making him uneasy on his feet. His biggest one was the deep gash in his side. Jellylorum had tended to his wounds, but had warned him to rest and not doing anything strenuous. She should have known that was futile. His stubbornness led him into the city.
The light of the day, that was now beginning to wind down, highlighted the faint silver streaks in his wild mane. He kept his head up, though the numbed pain, was now beginning to come back to the surface. The painkillers he had been prescribed were wearing off; and alcohol? That was the perfect substitute. His eyes were set up ahead, seeing nothing. It was a quiet evening. Still, he knew a few pubs that opened early.
Otrox turned down one corner, in search of the Taboo Tavern, the only one he knew of that was open twenty-four hours a day. His sight was sharp, seeing the dark queen and that they were on a collision coarse. His reaction time was not that perfect. He made a move to quickly move around her, but his feet weren't in sync with his brain, and though Otrox succeeded in averted their paths from crashing. His face ended up doing a nose dive into the concrete of the sidewalk. He muttered a curse, but the sound was muffled with his mouth still covered by the sidewalk. That trip had definitely jolted his wounds, the pain. He didn't give a fig about his dignity at the moment.

The dark queen had been so absorbed in going over the events of the day that she hadn't noticed the tom until his face was in the pavement. A startled and vaguely strangled sound made it out if her throat as she was able to feel the wind from the body falling. Electra silently began cursing her distraction and ignoring what had been going on around her. That really wasnt too bright of any idea, especially so close to the taverns.
Carefully Electra extended a paw towards the tom, "I'm sorry, I should have been watching where I had be walking. Are you okay? " the dark queen inquired inching slightly towards the tom. She could smell blood in him which meant he'd gotten hurt in the fall or an already injured tom had been better at figuring out their collision course nuch soons than herself.

((I am going to godmod just a smidge...not Electra's reactions, just something physical. Let me know if you want me to change it, and I will. No problem. ^_^))
Otrox was still grumbling, with much ire, but only to himself. The words were muffled so badly, that it sounded like he was growling out gibberish. It was all he could do to keep himself from crying out in pain, or whimpering because of the pain. Both of which were too wussy for a bulky badass tom like himself. And to do that in front of a small queen? His reputation was the only thing he had control of. He rolled onto his good side, though he did have a small moment of weakness. His other paw went down to touch his side. The scent was unmistakable, but he needed the visual confirmation. He felt the dampness of the blood, before he saw it on his paw pad.
Just bloody perfect. He had reopened the wounds Jellylorum had treated, cleaned, and bandaged. He was so preoccupied, he didn't even notice the scent of the Jellicle junkyard all over the queen he had swerved to avoid. Why did he do that? Instinct, probably. Inwardly cursing the ingrained instinct of caring, when he shouldn't have cared enough to avoid a head on collision. While he was cursing inside, his ears barely picked up on the words the queen was saying, though he did see the paw held down for him. "Fine." His rough surly voice muttered. He reached up, not too proud to admit he needed the help. But his size and strength was bigger then Electra's. As he grabbed her paw and tried to hoist himself up, his strength ended up bringing her down to crash on top of his body.

With the smell of blood hanging in the air between them, Lecky didn't bother to take notice of the underlying tones of the warehouse the Henches lived in. Not that it mattered much at this point, she couldn't just leave the injured tom in good conscious knowing he was hurt. She glanced down where his bloody paw came from and was relieved to see that it had at least been treated before it'd been reopened. Electra was by no means anywhere as good as either Jenny or Jelly but she wasn't completely useless either. A kittenhood with the assortment of cats she grew up with guaranteed that.
Well at least he wasn't so stubborn as to insist that he could get up himself, which Lecky doubted the tom could do at this moment. However the dark queen was rather small and by no means what one would consider a strong cat. Not too weak but certainly Electra could rattle off a decent number of cats whose strength was beyond her own.
Now what she was not expecting was how strongly the tom pulled down on her offered paw. Or quite how heavy he was. As she was pulled down a small surprised squeak came out, although she'd not quite admit that, as she expected to land harshly on the ground. Landing on the tom was on her end a much nicer option than the pavement and momentarily Electra was happy for the soft landing as it failed to register she was now sprawled on top of a strange tom. Almost sheepishly she looked up at the tom with a small apologetic smile, "Sorry, you're a little heavier than I expected." Thankfully her dark fur mostly hid the blush at her blunder and the result.
It took another few moments before the whole reason she needed to offer the paw was remembered - he was hurt. Once that realization hit her, Electra's green eyes widened and she sat up spewing a few curses at her forgetfulness of the tom's injury(now forgetting she was technically sitting on him) and gently placed a paw to his bloody side trying to figure out how bad it was.

Otrox made an ooph sound before gritting his teeth against the pain. His jaw clenched, and if anyone was looking closely enough they could see the tick just below his jaw line. It only took him another second to realize the queen was laying on top of him, and how it probably looked to outside observers. His white eyebrows furrowed down and his eyes looked over across the street. It would be his luck that a couple of stray cats would be walking on the opposite side of the sidewalk and gawking at Otrox, Electra, and the suggestive position they found themselves in. Otrox didn't even need to see how they looked, he just knew by the way they stared, pointed and had there mouths open in shock.
Growling low, he yelled across at them,"Keep walking, dirty voyeur's." One of them balked, but soon they both fled, and Otrox brought his attention back to the queen still sitting on top of him. Thankfully, she wasn't all that heavy, so aside from the shock of another's weight landing on him, it hadn't aggravated his opened side, too much. Not as much as he had already aggravated it, that is. He was momentarily distracted by her studious look, and found himself unable to speak. Though, what does one say in a situation like this? That's when he noticed her eyes going to his bloodied side, and went to intercept her paw, but was too late. Cringing, one of his eyelids squeezed shut in concentration.
He laid his head backward onto the cement behind him-with both of his arms behind his head, and opened both of his eyes. They were staring at the evening sky briefly. But he was nothing nice, rather blunt and harsh. If you asked the opinions of any of his fellow henchcats. So his yellow eyes pierced over into Electra's eyes. As best as he could, with the dull ache beginning to throb on his side; not to mention her exploring paw wasn't helping matters, he raised an eyebrow and tilted his head in almost a coy, seductive way. "You plannin' on makin' this worth my while, Freckles? Or are you going to get off my lap soon?" In his own way, he was simply trying to get the queen off of him. Unless he was good and drunk, Otrox wasn't too fond of any intimacy. And this...now? Was a little too close for his comfort. Though with every other complicated emotion, Otrox was able to ignore that he felt anything other then anger, sarcasm, and...was drunkness a personality trait?
Should be.

Truthfully Electra hadn't thought of what their position may look like to other, as she was more focused on helping the tom so the idea of others even taking notice of them hadn't even crossed her mind. She hope that her blush that had deepened was still covered by her darker fur, thankful for her natural colouring that usually could hide blushes. Plus Lecky ducked her head to better look at his side.
She tried to touch it as little as possible, and once again was happy to see it'd been stitched up once. The dark queen didn't think it'd need to be restitched at the moment, so long as the stitches didn't get ripped any more than they currently were. Momentarily she looked back up towards Otrox's face, gauging his reaction to her prodded since he'd been relatively quiet. However the dark queen was surprised to find Otrox's yellow eyes, her own green eyes widened slightly in surprise at the eye contact and the fact that the facial expression she encountered wasn't one she expected as his expression turned coy.
Lecky let out something between a small laugh and a snort, "Because making sure you won't bleed out isn't worth your while." She commented as she Slid off of the tom to settle on his side as she rolled her eyes. Well at least the change in his expression made more sense now, although really Lecky considered that she shouldn’t be too surprised especially after how they’d obviously looked.

Otrox blinked round eyes, almost bashful, when Electra's own eyes made direct contact with him. Though, they finally narrowed and became their usual stony indifferent expression. A momentary lapse, a weak moment. The pain must have been making him delirious enough to show even a smidgen of his softer center, to this unknown dark beauty. That seemed like a good enough reason for Otrox to believe and found it easy to acclimatize that way. He looked down at his own side, when she did, a few strands of his mane falling into his eyes. Though his tensed body did relax slightly as she slid off his lap, he didn't show his relieve, aside from a raised eyebrow.
He did crack a small smirk at the Queen's wit. "If you that worried about it, Freckles. Then perhaps taking this to a more secluded area might be best." It hadn't been a come on, and though he didn't mind an audience of strangers, he'd been exposed to worse. Being a hench, a lot of things had to be let go. He lost his modesty years ago. Still, he preferred not to b*tch and moan in front of strangers. If the younger queen really insisted on rechecking his wound. Though, Otrox always gave others a way out, so he spoke gruffly. "It's easily treatable. You don't have to fawn over it. I'll be fine."

Electra didn't think too much of their small moment of eye contact, probably because she lived in a tribe that usually had so much more contact. Therefore a simple meeting of the eyes meant less. Then again, they didn't usually happen while she was laying on top of someone. At least not in her tribe for her.
As she slid off and onto the ground, the stitches in Otrox's side began to bother her. She'd spent enough time looking at them for them to nag at her for some odd reason. Believing that was useless Lecky shook her head slightly to try and clear the errant thoughts and to refocus on the situation and tom at hand. She debated about his comment on taking their conversation to a more secluded area, at the very least the small could-have-been-an-incident with the cats across the street would be avoided.
"I'm sure, just like you were fine before reopening the stitches." She commented with a role of her eyes. "At least let me wash them since without falling because of me they may not have opened." The dark queen offered as she stood and once again offered her paw out to Otrox, "Let's try this again, but this time without the crash."

The surly and gruff muscular tom incidentally and subconsciously protected his injured side from any more poking and prodding. "Better believe it, darlin'." He spoke with a snarky barb. He had been fine before reopening the stitches. Perhaps a little sore, but being a Hench cat soreness was nothing. It was not good to show weaknesses, and whining over a sore side, would have been a big gaping sign of 'Weak'. Otrox used the strength in his legs and arms, and ignoring the now sting from his opened stitches, Otrox got up onto his knees on his own.
He did grimace, though with his head down it was easily hidden. Putting a more stern expression on his face, he raised his head up. With his eyes narrowing down at the queen's outstretched paw, he finally took it with a muttered word. Using her paw merely as balance, he used his own strength to stand on his own two feet. Once he was again, standing, he jerked his paw away from Electra. "Lead the way, if you must, freckles."

Electra just sighed at the barb, choosing to ignore his pigheadedness for the moment. Acknowledging it would probably just get both of them aggravated which wouldn't help anything or do any good. As she stood the dark queen was happy to not have hurt anything, probably because her landing had been rather soft and cushioned.
Luckily this time neither of them fell, the endeavor to help actually working as she had originally hoped. Along Electra did give the tom a sidelong glance at being call freckles again, "Electra." She corrected before glancing around to find the nearest open place that she could take advantage of to wash the blood off Otrox. "C'mon." Was the only indication she gave before slipping into one of the buildings.

Otrox shuffled his feet, to mask any limping on his part, as he followed after her. Hearing the queen speak, what he assumed was her name, his gut reaction pushed him to speak. "Gesundheit." Otrox cringed slightly, cursing himself. He knew he should show some sort of compassion or understanding, or at least tolerance. She did offer to ...prod more at his wound, lucky him. Shrugging his shoulders, the best and only way he'd express any sort of apologetic behavior, he mumbled loud enough for her to hear. "Otrox."
With his eyes not on her butt. Honest! Okay, so maybe his golden eyes did glance every once in a while in that general direction. He was only male after all, he could't exactly help it. And not having had any intimacy recently, he found himself quite controlled. "Where are we headed to?"

Electra's pace wasn't fast, she normal walked at a relaxed pace and seeing as this didn't seem too horrible the dark queen didn't see much need to increase her normal speed. Besides, she didn't know too many cats who went running around while hurt, especially when it was something that required stitches.
However the queen's ear twitched slightly in response to the German word. She was sure she hadn't mumbled her name, and considering some of the names of others cats she knew 'Electra' wasn't exactly that far out there, the dark queen could even remember seeing it (at least she was sure those letters were her name) in some old human book. However before Lecky could decide whether or not she should be offended at all Otrox introduced himself. She nodded slightly not exactly sure how to respond, usually after an introduction there was the whole polite pleasantries like "it's nice to meet you" and whatever phrase similar one chose to use. However they'd done this a little backwards with introductions part way through the exchange. So Lecky decided that the acknowledging know was good enough for now.
"In there." She answered pointing a paw towards a tavern she'd been walking to. Electra had in recent times come to it a pawful of times, usually to get away from all the commotion of the Yard and to relax a bit. It was only a couple yards to the door and with a glance at Otrox she stepped into the dimly lit tavern, "Find a quiet spot, I'm grabbing something to get the blood off with." She commented only a few moments before leaving the tom to do what she'd said. It was only a minute or so before she'd managed to find a clean looking rag and some water to dampen it to make the whole cleaning the blood off of Otrox's fur easier. Quietly she returned to where she'd left him, her green eyes scanning the tavern to find him.

Otrox followed closely behind Electra as they had entered into the tavern. Ironically, it had been the tavern he had been headed to in the first place, before running into Electra. And all that had followed. His eyes glanced over many of the patrons, though he did spot some busty queens, most of the ale drinkers there were all male. A boisterous burp had echoed through the area, and he had barely heard Electra's voice telling him she'd be back soon. Something about blood. The loud atmosphere of the crowded room, affected him. It was an atmosphere he was more use to, more then the Warehouse, in fact. A second home.
He guarded his side discreetly when two of the toms came up beside him, one on each side. A black tabby tom to his right, and a grey-tipped Siamese standing on his left. Though Otrox knew what they were really doing and who they were really staring at. The Siamese had licked his lips, in a perverse way, a gesture Otrox spotted from his peripheral vision. While the tabby put an arm around his neck. The scent of beer was strong in the pub, naturally, but he could smell just how much was on both of the toms breath. "You gots yerssselfs a hot babe." The one tom had slurred out, obviously still imagining her in the spot she no longer stood in.
Before Otrox could groan, or attempt to break one or more of the tabby's fingers now slowly stroking his shoulder. A gesture he wasn't unfamiliar with, but at this point in time, the touch was most definitely not consensual. The Siamese spoke,"Like that beaut would be with an ugl... like this guy, Lou. Think I'm going to take her when she gets back. Bend that slender for...body over that stool...and-" His perverse mouth had taken a nasty blow from Otrox's massive fist. Grabbing the Siamese by the shoulders, he managed to shove him backwards. Then flipped the tabby over his back, his eyes reeking of boiled fury, as he glared down at the fallen tabby.
"Ya disgustin' toms even think of touchin' her, you'll wake up with an appendage missin', bub." He kicked at the fallen tabby's body, but had gotten grabbed from behind by the Siamese. The rest of the patrons either gathered around to watch the fight, or acted as if it was a common occurrence and wasn't impressed by the spectacle. With the Siamese surprising him from behind, it gave the tabby enough time to stand up himself. The two flung Otrox, who fell across one of the tables, knocking the partially full beer mugs on the table over. He slid across it and landed on the floor. He grimaced, knowing that had tore open some more, if not all of his stitches, but was high on the adrenaline. Jumping to his feet, he grabbed the closest mug of beer, and threw it. Hitting the Siamese directly in the face, the tom had grabbed at his face cursing.
"Come at me, Tabby, and you'll regret it." One claw, and one claw only was held up in a threatening manner as he pointed it at the tabby. The Siamese tom had managed to sober up enough to realize a full brawl with Otrox, even injured, would cost a lot of pain in the morning (even if they won). He ushered the younger tabby tom towards the exit. Though he complied, the tabby threw the closest object at Otrox. The tall bulky black tom had turned to find a place he could sit and wait, only to get hit in the head by a heavy object. Grunting out in pain, he held his paws out to the table in front of him, in order to steady himself.

Finding the rag had been rather easy, from her few trips here Lecky had befriended the cat how worked at the tavern distributing drinks and he had helped her out. Normally Lecky either stayed close to the actual bar or found an especially dark section and took advantage of her dark fur to be relatively unnoticed if that was what she wanted. Despite the usual commotion that happened in a tavern she still used the place to escape the Yard's commotion. Just the energy felt different, and here she was much less likely to be sucked into some high energy happening that Electra would rather simply observe.
As she returned Electra had heard the fight, although chose to ignore it not realizing that Otrox had been a part of it. At least until as she had spotted him and the dark queen watched as the tom got hit in the head by the thrown object. She cringed a bit at the impact happened. With another sigh Lecky made it to the table that Otrox had chosen, quietly she sat on his bloody side and with one paw on his shoulder and pressed the slightly cold and wetted rag to his bloody side. "I was gone not even 5 minutes."
