Otrox had a grimace still gracing his features, not enjoying the new migraine throbbing behind his eyes. Not to mention the adrenaline he had gotten from their insults, to his first punch connecting with the toms jaw, was dissipating. With it beginning to fade the pain in his side felt very real. Like a knife had been gliding down his side, before ripping through his stitches and back into his body. His jaw ticked as he clenched his teeth tightly together. Otrox's eyes, he noted he hadn't realized he had closed them, when Electra returned.
Not only returned, but placed the cold, wet rag on his bloodied wound, without warning. She was suicidal, she had to be. Even the feisty Jellylorum had warned him first. He couldn't help but find himself ...slightly...impressed by her suicidal tendencies. He didn't admit, and would to the quick intake of breath through his clenched teeth, at the new sensation of the rag being pressed against his injury. He pulled away briefly, so he could sit in the chair beside him, though angled his chair so she'd be able to get within reach of his side. He rolled his eyes upward, with a self-deprecating smirk. "What can I say, darlin'. I'm a popular guy."

Electra barely outwardly reaction to Otrox until he pulled away from her, she then glanced up at him with a raised and vaguely challenging brow. Not giving him warning to the coming rag meant that he couldn't tense up, which could make things worse. Plus it gave him a point to focus on after the blow to the head, so at least from Lecky's perspective there was method to what could be interpreted as madness. That and she hadn't expected a violent reaction, she'd told him what she was disappearing to get and had already mentioned cleaning his side so the dark queen didn't really see how it could have been that much of a surprise.
"Apparently. Between your side and the fight, you must have some killer charm." She commented as she reapplied the rag to his side, letting it both draw out and absorb the bleeding and have the chill of it work to sooth some pain. At least she hoped.

Otrox was still looking at her between squinted and grouchy eyes. Leaning his head backwards, in an attempt to keep his emotional distance from Electra, he looked up at the ceiling of the establishment. "Just pour some alcohol on it, freckles. That'll clean it without you needing to be so close to me, and just think. You'll get the enjoyment of watching me squirm in pain." His voice was distant, sarcastic, and held no humor at all to his tone. He did peek his eyes down and to the side at her words. One eyebrow went up, and he did give the dark beauty a sly smirk. "Its already working on you, ain't it darlin'? Pretty soon I can picture you slapping me and storming out in a huff." He shrugged his shoulders,"Its a gift, why waste it?"

"It's already been stitched up, therefore cleaned. This is to soak up your bleeding." She commented absently, growing up in the Yard with rambunctious friends who often got themselves hurt meant stitches weren't uncommon for her. Not to mention all the things she'd done to herself over the years. "Cold helps soothe pain. Despite everything you've seen I'm not found of causing pain." She added dryly. No, she tried to avoid hurting others whenever she could, it never something that sat right with her; senseless pain.
Satisfied that the bleeding had nearly stopped as the rag didn't appear to be getting anymore red, Lecky sat up tossing it onto the table. A smile tugged at her lips as Otrox commented on her slapping him and storming out, Electra wasn't sure she'd ever actually stormed out on anyone or that she was exactly capable of storming out. The word implied a louder exit than she'd ever actually be able to make. The dark queen was never really associated with anything loud, she tended to be quiet and able to disappear or reappear with barely any sound often surprising those around her accidentally. "I don't storm anywhere." She quipped, "And if your gift worked so well on me I could just poke where your stitches used to be and disappear instead." She teased lightly.

Otrox frowned. "You've already pressed the rag to my wound, you're done soaking up the blood." His voice nearly came out in a hiss. His sour face gazed briefly up at her before turning away. "Must be one of those sanctimonious Jellicles kumbayaying over in that junkyard then, ay darlin'??" Otrox runabout way of confirming his suspicions of her being a jellicle. Most jellicles preached about not being fond of causing pain, or preaching pacifism. However, he had yet to really meet a cat who stuck by their so called principles and beliefs. When it boiled down to it, every cat he's ever come across turned out to be hypocrites in the end. His pessimism over it was clear on his face, if anyone bothered to look hard enough.
The gruff, surly tom did hear a lighter tone to her voice, and it did help to clear his pessimistic views. If only slightly, and only admitted to himself. "Then I recommend you do it once. It's fun. Pick someone you dislike, and storm out in a huff." Then he added. "You don't even need the slap." Otrox began to lean back in his chair, but it stretched his muscles, and irritated the wound on his side. "Considering you didn't while I was vulnerable, I'm going to call you on your bluff." His tone was just as gruff as his appearance.

"Your body decides that, not you."Electra has aware of the way that some ally cats and Henches viewed her tribe, she spent enough time out of the Yard to know. She also knew that the dislike could turn into violence on some occasions. However this one, the dark queen doubted would end like that. Mostly because Otrox was injured, so he really only had verbal jabs that could be effective. She knew that changing one's opinion on the entire tribe was useless, she'd tried naively when she was younger. Instead of attempting to deny his correct assumption Electra raised a brow at him, "Kumbayaying?" She challenged the odd word, doubting that it was in fact a real word having never heard it, or anything close to the word.
The smile tugged on her lips again as Lecky rolled her eyes, apparently Otrox had missed the implication that storming out made more noise and more of a scene the Electra ever did. There was a reason she was able to slip out of the Yard without notice while half the Yard was panicking over missing queens. It was the same reason she didn't storm out. "Sounds like too much of a hassle to bother. I'm much better at quiet." However calling her bluff had Electra actually laughing a bit, "Truly amazing you were able to see through that one. Astounding really."

Otrox shrugged his shoulders. As if he ever listened to his body. His lips cracked into an amused smirk and he shook his head. "Its a song. As in singing....You lot do that, don't you?" His amusement didn't end there though. He gritted his teeth, as he moved to prop his feet up on the table in front of him. Once his body was idle again, the pain in his side began to lessen. With his smirk back in place, he gestured to her. "For such a 'quiet' creature, you seem to have large presence." He retorted, though it wasn't a jab at weight or anything insulting. Quite the opposite. And the closest, Otrox had even come to complimenting someone.
He grunted in acknowledgement to her small insult. It was something, proved she had a little bite in her, a little bit of fiestiness. So there was some hope to the future of the jellicle's. He was proving the rumor that all jellicles were boring, goody-two-shoes, stick in the muds false. Now Otrox wondered if all the Jellicles were also prudes, or if that was also a tall tale. Still, he doubted he'd find out from the dark beauty in front of him. He did reply to her insult. "Probably would have been better if you had. A Hench would." And it was true. It was partly why he was such the charming tom he was. Living in the warehouse taught him to take the advantage first, or suffer the consequences.

Well that was a surprise, she hadn't expected it to be a song. Even more surprising that Otrox knew the name of the song especially since it was Lecky and not the tom who was a part of the tribe known for singing. Although she wasn't sure why that was among the most prominent things they were known for, it wasn't as if they spent all of their time everyday singing. Now that would be tiresome. However she rolled her green eyes at Otrox's statement " We actually do others things too, it's not as we spend every moment singing instead of speaking.". If that were the case Electra would be even quieter than she was currently. The dark queen rarely sang on her own, it attracted far too much attention from too many. Instead she preferred others to take the spotlight. Silently Lecky lifted a brow as she noticed Otrox's gritted teeth as he adjusted his position, hardly noticing as her posture relaxed with the rather easy flow of conversation between the two cats.
She blinked her green eyes in surprise at his odd comment, for once not fully sure whether it was supposed to be an insult or a compliment. Now she'd never thought herself as particularly fat or thin, but she'd also never heard a compliment worded like that. Her presence had never been likened to being large, rather used to it being equated with dark and quiet things. There were plenty of times the dark queen had been compared to a shadow. Sometimes others took no notice when she joined or left situations, simply appearing or disappearing with little disturbances. " You're the first to voice such a thought." She commented smiley slightly still unsure whether it was a compliment or not.
She once again riled her eyes at Otrox, well that answers her question of whether or not he was part of a tribe or an alley cat. " Haven't we already established I'm a Jellicle and not a fan of senseless violence or is that hit to the head messing with your memory?"

Feeling more relaxed, the burly tom put his arms behind his head, looking at the other patrons. After the scuffle, they had continued on as normal, but had relatively kept their distance from him. However, now that things had died down, it was almost as if the rest of the cats had forgotten all about the small bar fight, about ten minutes ago. At her next words, his mouth twitched and he raised an eyebrow. "Did little ol' me hit a nerve?" He shrugged. "Who knew a teeny tiny inconsequential comment about singing would be such an insult? Well then, Miss Thang. Why don't you enlighten me on what else it is you Jellicles do besides sing and dance." It was in a challenging voice, but...it was Otrox's only way to express curiosity about the other tribe.
But her soft words and the cute small smile that she had replied back to, had him staring at her intently. It was odd. Everyone he knew would have taken offense to that, or would have ignored him. This was the first individual who had understood his way of complimenting. That or she just chose to take it as a compliment. "Well that is surprising, darlin'." So he was the first? To notice? He, the sourpuss, the tom who noticed nothing passed the length of his own nose, had been the first to realize something powerful about Electra, that no one else had? The hit to his head was making him soft. He sneered slightly at that thought. Soft...in the warehouse, was a death sentence.
Still, the tiny, almost insecure smile, had him going that one step further. She took it as a compliment and he decided to confirm it. "You forced a tom twice your size to follow you here, and tended to his wounds, despite him being a feared Hench warrior." He shook his head,"Got guts, princess." He left out the part about her having a compassionate heart. Enough to care about him, when he had stopped caring about himself years ago. It was too mushy and self-deprecating for someone like him to speak out loud of. Besides, though he knew she'd take it as a compliment, his thoughts of her having a compassionate heart was an obvious insult in his eyes.
He gave her an amused and almost indignant look. "I wasn't referring to you, 'Lectra. But since we're on the subject. I've run into quite a few jellicles who hit first, and never ask questions." His eyes were narrowed in anger, looking away from Electra. As if being in the Jellicle Tribe automatically made you a saint, or a 'good guy'.

Lecky herself wasn't paying much attention to the other patrons in the bar, sure she'd been there a couple times but not enough to be known. And she had been a lot more focused on getting something to help the Otrox's bleeding side. And since then the queen had actually been enjoying the conversation so she hadn't had reason to be watching the room. Besides growing up in the yard constantly surveying the area wasn't something that had needed to be done so it didn't always cross her mind to do so in familiar places. However Lecky sighed at Otrox, "It's near idiotic to think that we go about our day singing every time we open our mouths. We do normal tribe things too, we have other hobbies, we talk, spend time together, laze about, hunt that sort of normal thing." It definitely irked her that for some reason cats outside of her tribe couldn't seem to grasp that concept on their own. Really who spent their entire time singing and dancing? By God that would be tiresome.
The rather intent way that Otrox looked at her was odd to Electra, she couldn't quite decipher why he'd possibly be gazing at her in such a way. Sure she wasn't quite invisible in the tribe, she was noticed just not often in large groups. In small conversations she was noticed just fine. Even still, she was likened essentially only to near silent things. It was only added upon considering her darker colouring. She shrugged lightly, smile still on her face, "Most usually just stick to commenting on how quiet I am." She explained. However as Otrox further his compliment to a more overt one, she blushed at it. Not that Electra viewed it quite the same way, she wasn't exactly sure she could have forced Otrox here, injury or not. Even from their small conversation he seemed a bit bull headed which wouldn't lend itself to being forced into much of anything. And forcing him physically was laughable as he pointed out their size difference quite accurately. "I'm not sure I could actually force you into much. Especially with how very scary you are. She deflected the conversation back towards Otrox, hoping that her dark fur and the not so great lighting would work to hide the blush that had deepened throughout his complimenting. Especially now that Lecky was absolutely certain he'd been complimenting her.
The blush faded in surprise at the revealed information. Now Lecky knew their tribe weren't black and white, because really what was? But she was honestly surprised, to her knowledge none of those she was close to would do that, but she didn't know every cat in the tribe. Nor could she really know how most would react in conflicts, especially with Henches because the dark queen avoiding getting herself in those situations. She hesitated a moment before reaching out to lay a paw on his arm lightly, " I'm sorry." She knew it probably wasn't anywhete enough but it was least something.

Otrox had only been miffed. He was upset, this was true, but it wasn't at Electra. He was concentrating on not sending his ire at Electra. But instead was trying to mentally destroy the couple jellicle toms who had jumped him and beat him up a few years ago. Were they even still in the junkyard? For all Otrox knew, they had left, or had perished in some way. But, he was who he was because of toms like that. His past with them, before the Henches, and once he became a hench cat taught him all the harshities of life.
However, he was grounded from his stewing thoughts when he felt Electra's paw brush over his fur and land softly on his arm. It was different. Somehow, her touch felt different to the feel of her body falling on top of his earlier, and different to the gentle prodding and cleaning, when she had inspected and cleaned the blood from his side. He couldn't exactly describe it, but his kneejerk reaction was to coil away. To flee from the sincerity and sympathy in her eyes.
Damn well better be sympathy and not pity. Otrox had bitterly thought, before his words finally made it passed his brain and out of his mouth. "Don't! Unless you mean it." He jerked his arm away from her touch, and in doing so his heavy body weight had slammed into the back of the chair he sat in. With him leaning backward in it already, he gave just enough oomph, unwittingly, to tip it all the way backwards and Otrox fell with it. He swore loudly as he hit the ground and the chair broke into several pieces beneath him. "Should have stayed home and drank from my own stash tonight." Otrox muttered under his breath. The hit to his head probably disoriented him more then he was ever going to admit.
In an uncharacteristic mood, he did glance back up at Electra, his fall being rather swift, and gave her as close to a genuine smile as he had ever given. "Not much to look at, but there's never a dull moment with me, huh darlin'?"

It hadn't taken long before Electra had given up trying to figure exactly which Jellicles could had negatively impacted Otrox the way they obviously had. First because just how big of a tribe she was in, there was no way she knew every face never mind knowing them intimately enough to hazard a guess to their identity and because it seemed so often that new faces were popping up and old ones disappearing ir cats were jumping tribes. It was all terribly confusing for the dark queen to try and constantly keep up with all the information. She had absolutely no idea how the leaders of either tribe did. Actually Electra wasn't fully sure she really knew why there was so much bad blood between the two tribes.
Move action of placing her paw on Otrox's arm was definitely different than the other times they'd had physical contact during their conversation. For one it was the only time she'd iniated contact simply because she wanted to, not because she'd fallen or because of her worry over the tom's bleeding. It was a very conscious decision to touch him, especially with the motivation of an attempt at some type of comfort or sympathy. The touch was light and she hoping not intrusive on his space. Electra believed that there was some measure of comfort to be drawn through touch, a way that physical contact could convey something in how cats touched. She hadn't expected quite the violent recoil though and it left her wide eyed in shock and confusion. Shock that was compounded as his chair fell back bringing it's occupant with it.
The expression on his face as he realized that he wouldn't be able to recover was a small moment of hilarity before the crash. The sound of Otrox hitting the floor and the chair breaking prompter the dark queen to wince slightly and miss his muttering to himself. Electra barely suppressed a small laugh at the site of him grinning up at her from the floor, instead snorted lightly but could not fight the small grin " I think you may need your own personal medic following you with what I've seen of your shenanigans.". Although she did silently wonder at his nothing to look at comment, there was plenty of the Tom to look at. Well at the very least this seemed to be the happiest he'd been the entire time they'd been together, maybe he needed to fall of things more often.

Otrox saw her smile, and knew it reflected his own. Catching up with that thought, he snorted and shook his head, allowing his lips to fall back down into a neutral line. He was not a tom who bonded with others, let alone a jellicle. He stuck with flings, something casual. Feelings were something he thought to have been buried. But as he stared up at Electra's small grin, he couldn't help but wonder if there was something there. On his side anyway.
Putting a paw into his mane, slicking the displaced strands backwards. Though, like they normally did, two thick strands fell back down and over his eyes. His paw did discreetly check the back of his head once more, but he wouldn't be able to check out his back and if any of the broken pieces of the chair caused any damage. He was still rather shocked by the fall to notice any pain. He shrugged his shoulders, beginning to get back up himself, without having a repeat of earlier on the street. "All I need is a strong drink." He did gaze back down at her once he was fully standing back up. "Unless you're offering to be my personal medic." His eyebrow lifted up, leaving Electra to determine its meaning...if anything.
Otrox did decide against sitting in another chair. He wasn't clumsy, but he did tend to find trouble everywhere. Be it from another animal, human, or inanimate objects-it seemed. "I'm a magnet for trouble, princess." He didn't say anymore, but he knew if they ever did get any closer, he'd most likely try and push her away. So none of it rubbed off on her. "Why are you still here? You stayed to clean my wound which you did. You could have left after that." It was curiosity on his part.
The black muscular tom, admitted to himself that he did not want to scare her or push her away just yet. It's been the most fun he's had in a long while. Even if he was making an ass of himself.

Electra's smile didn't fall from her expression as Otrox's own smile diminished into a thin line. She had no such qualms about bonding with other cats, although that was probably attributed to the fact that she was a Jellicle. And despite often going unnoticed in the crowd of the tribe, she enjoyed the commotion of everyone around her and the bonds that she'd made among the cats even though she did her best to stay out of the majority of the chaos that lived in the 'Yard. The number of cats she'd bonded with that weren't from the 'Yard was a significantly smaller number if any the one's she came across often seemed to believe fewer bonds was better. She'd never fully understand that belief, but again she'd been in the junkyard most of her life.
However she watched as Otrox stood up, mentally checking if he seemed to wince or flinch as he did so which would indicate he'd gotten even more hurt. It didn't appear that he'd flinched noticeably while standing up so the dark queen hoped he was rather okay considering what had just happened on top of every other injury he'd received today. Although now that he was standing and she wasn't focused on somehow getting him to somewhere that she could poke at and inspect his Electra took note of how much she had to look up to speak to him rather than his chest. "Well good thing we happen to be somewhere that has drinks. And passed what I've done for you, I'm pretty useless as a medic." She commented offhandedly gesturing to the bar. Though it was true, the medical knowledge she possessed was mostly just gleaned from helping her friends taking care of things already taken care of by much better trained healers.
Silently she raised a brow at being called princess but let it slide as his question registered with her. Despite the bit abruptness of the question it wasn't asked in a demanding or offensive way. To the dark queen it came across as simple curiosity, so she simply shrugged with a small smirk, "As hard as it may seem, I've actually been enjoying our little meeting. Mind boggling I know."

Otrox kept his normal, straight face, but the short spout of adrenaline that had surged through him as he fell wore off. Now he was feeling all the aches in his back, though did not feel any sort of trickling liquid. So he thanked the powers that be for not tearing open the skin. Perhaps he bruised his back. Either or, they were injuries that were easy to hide; especially where booze was involved. His golden eyes lit up as he spotted some full mugs of beer, with their occupants out cold on the floor; drool pooling out of their mouths. Grabbing the closest mug, he began to slowly drink and savor the taste as it ran down his throat. He wagged his eyebrows at Electra as soon as he finished two swallows. "There's another free one over here, if your interested." Otrox wasn't sure if she would, but knew had he phrased it as a challenge she may take him up on it. But, he wasn't all that keen on the manipulative ways that many of the henches seemed to have. Unless he had no choice. Though at her final statement his mouth dropped open. The burly tom was able to half-cover his surprise by taking another swig from his mug. "You sure you didn't hit your head back on the street when you fell on top of me, darlin'?"
