Coricopat held his side. he closed his eyes as the pain flared shortly hotter at his side. The bandage around his torso slowly started to get wet again, the wound he got from that Dark Cat forsaken assassin must have opened up again. That obnoxious healer in that cellar had been right and he was in no condition to get back to the warehouse. But he hasn't been able to stay there, not with more short-of-patient half brother calling for him anytime. That black queen Prrasha said she would excuse him with his Lordship, but he knew Macavity better. When the ginger cat would here he wasn't in the warehouse out of whatever reason that would be the perfect time for a summon, which he then couldn't answer ... which in the next instance would be much to answer for. So Coricopat had left first thing the healer, he couldn't even recall her name, left him alone in the cellar he toiled himself up and out of the cellar.
Now he was somewhere halfway between that place and the warehouse and he was exhausted, he hurt like he never felt before. He trouble breathing and, yes, the bandage slowly grew red. Leaning against the wall of the corner where he was catching his breath, he wondered how he would cheat himself out of this situation. He needed help without appearing to be needy or admitting any weakness. Such help was not walking down the streets or alleys in this part of town, rather the opposite. Looking around he wondered who he could con into helping him "home".

Gilbert walked stiffly down the darkened streets, away from the little pissant Fangorn. For all his bluster, Gilbert got away with only a few insults flung at him. And Gilbert was pretty impervious to insults, he had more things to worry about then someone's petty view on his personality. He still held the bag of supplies for trade/barter, but he had found himself using a lot of the supplies on himself. His tryst with Fangorn had riled him up enough to open the wounds that had been bandaged. The cuts on his head, though bandaged and not anything to worry about, were beginning to itch and burn at the same time. They were an annoyance. It was still his arm wound that worried him. It was getting harder to use it. Though he hoped that he just needed to rest it, but until he found where Tugger was he wasn't going to rest.
Gilbert frowned, sensing another cat nearby, his powers more effective then sight, sound, or scent. He was cautious not to get to close, but close enough to see if it was one of his old contacts, or perhaps a jellicle. Granted, he didn't really know any of the jellicles, aside from Tugger and Jemima, he wasn't the type to socialize. He thought he recognized the tom, but the scent smelled suspiciously of Hench cats. Either he was one, or was recently interacting with one. Slowly he stepped out of the shadows, optimistic that this meeting might prove more fruitful then his attempts to gather information from Fangorn did. Tilting his head slightly, he got a better view of the tom. He was definitely familiar, but he was use to seeing those markings on a female body. He knew of Tantomile, but he didn't know her. He was vaguely aware that she had a brother, but he didn't know they were identical twins.
That was when he noticed the toms own injuries, and slow progress into the city. Gilbert's ice blue eyes stared intently at Coricopat. "You look as bad as I feel."

Coricopat looked into the direction he heard someone addressing him. An eyebrow rose as he took in the other Jellicle, one he didn't know. If he was with the junkyard, Cori knew that the other tom hadn't been with them in Cori's time, nor did he recognize the stranger from the warehouse, but that wasn't "that" surprising. Everyone stayed away from everyone there. Taking in a labored breath while holding his side, Cori managed a bitter smile,
"You should try my perspective then, it feels even worse than it looks"
Coricopat leaned against the wall again, still holding his side.
"So what would have a fine chap like you feeling like crap on a wonderful day..."
He waved around in emphasize of the dreary London weather between bouts of rain,
"... at the idyllic Thames waterfront? I couldn't even think of one reason, but my own little predicament, that somehow tries to hinder me going home."

Olivia moved slowly through the shrubs, her emerald green eyes staring intently at the ground. She was so confused. She wanted to leave hadn't she? But no, she had tried and it hadn't worked. All that happened was her standing like a fool infront of the Jellicle Junkyard before realising that that place wasn't for her. Feeling like her life so far was a waste she sighed deeply slowing her pace even more. What would the others think? Would they even realise that she disappeared for two days? But it wasn't that uncommon she decided, she was well known for frequenting the clubs, her disappearing for a couple of days should have done anything right?
Sighing she stopped all together and dropped to the ground, exaustion taking over her. That was when she saw the two Tom's talking, atleast thats what it seemed like from her point of view. She couldn't make out who it was, but knew if she wanted to go anyfurther she'd have to go past them. She chewed her lip nervously, that was a new emotion, she hadn't been nervous for a long time.

Gilbert shrugged. "Not like I have to tell you anything." He spoke with barely hidden venom. After the last few days, Gilbert wasn't in the mood to be jerked around. And he certainly wasn't in the mood to talk, not to another hench cat. He knew he'd get just as much cooperation and information about Tugger and the missing jellicle queens, as he got from Fangorn. Absolutely nothing. His shoulders tensed slightly as he thought about Tugger. How much he trusted the maine coon, and how deeply he valued the tom's friendship. He also knew Jemima was trusting him to find any bit of information on her brother. He shook his head,"Doesn't matter. Got into a fight. Looks like you got into your own tiff."

Coricopat snorted, which turned into a coughing fit, which made him bend over. He held his side tightly and noticed the wetness against his paw pads. <Damn, I really need to get that stitched up and soon.>, he thought. With a grimace of a smile he looked up to Gilbert, his attempts to appear non-chalant slowly failing.
"You could say a fight found me. As you might see I am not of the brawling kind that much and my little misfortune..."
He held up his now bloody hand, showing it before pressing it back on his side,
"is the wonderful result of it. You wouldn't find it in your heart to help a fellow victim to a safe place, where he might find the assistance to be stitched up and rest."
He really set a winning smile on his otherwise pain filled face.
"I can and will make sure it won't be to your disadvantage. I do have some worth."

Gilbert frowned and looked away from Coricopat, getting antsy once again. He wasn't doing anything. Nothing! He and Tugger didn't know each other that well, but he was positive the Leopard tom viewed him as a friend. If Gilbert were in trouble, he was sure Tugger (and Jemima) would do anything to get to him. Yeah, you should." Gilbert spoke softly and offhandedly. The thoughts of Coricopat coming through crystal clear, as if Coricopat had spoken them. And with him staring off, searching for anything, he hadn't realized that Coricopat did not speak that aloud.
Gilbert turned his head at the tom's words, and considered them carefully. "Where exactly do you need to go?"
The cream colored tom gave a rueful stare down at his bag of supplies, but more importantly his paws. His gloves had gotten shredded during his...episode. And he didn't have any new ones. There weren't any in his bag either. He didn't fancy feeling everything the other tom was going through. And if he did touch him, that is exactly what would happen. Still, it wasn't like he hadn't experienced that type of pain through the conscious perspective he absorbed from other cats. He was starting to get use to it. And helping the only friends he had (Jemima and Rum Tum Tugger) meant enough to him that he was willing to risk it. After tossing the bag onto the street, and off to the side, he crossed his arms defensively. "I do need information. So...I'll help."

Coricopat raised an eyebrow and forgot for a few seconds his pain. Did this tom just answered his thoughts? Cori knew that he hadn't said it out loud that he needed to be stitched up and still that tom had answered his internal comment. Since Cori had had experience with shared thoughts with his twin and the times while he still held his own powers, it didn't shock him as much as someone else. On the contrary, he immediately saw the advantage to get this tom into the warehouse. His dear, dear half-brother would be rewarding him quiet nicely for such a price, another mystic for him.
The dark calico pressed his paw again tighter against his side and tried to stand away from the wall he had been leaning against.
"If you would be so gracious to escort me this street down and a few blocks further to a warehouse, I would be eternally grateful. There I should find the help to deal with my little problem. On the way there I will answer any question you have and if I don't know the answer, I know some gentlecats at our destination, who will know everything I can't answer."

Gilbert's eyes were on him, and they were darkened. Somewhat from the little lighting, but mostly, because he kept some of his mane flipped down, covering or providing shade for his eyes. The tom did what he could to keep his mental shields up. He really didn't like going into the minds of others, but with close proximity, sometimes surface thoughts were harder to pick up. He cocked his head to the side, studying the tom. He did look familiar, but he couldn't place it for some reason. And though he wasn't picking up any stray thoughts from the tom in front of him, there was something about the tom that had Gilbert's paranoia and internal alarms going off. He didn't know if he could trust Coricopat, but for Tugger's sake, he had to try.
"This...warehouse?" Gilbert spoke aloud in question. He paused, but finally slipped in as an afterthought. "It wouldn't happen to be the warehouse of the Hench cats? Macavity's power base. Would it?" If it was then helping the tom to the warehouse might prove to be advantageous. He could perhaps get in to see Macavity and find out exactly where Tugger was, and possibly where Jellylorum was. Though, he did admit, Tugger was more important to him. He didn't know Jelly. Only through proxy of the memories absorbed through others. Still, it'd put him exactly where he wanted to be. It was risky, he may never leave the warehouse. He had heard rumors that cats rarely ever left intact, but he didn't know how much stock to put into rumors. Still, friendship taught him that it was worth the risk. Gilbert gestured forward down the street. "I assume you won't be able to walk the rest of the way on your own...?"

Coricopat grinned ruefully.
"Well, it seems you have found me out on all fronts. Guilty as charged. The warehouse belongs to my infamous halfbrother, who is known under that name of Macavity."
He coughed painfully and each cough made it impossible for him to breath in. The attack lasted long enough that he started to see black stars exploding in front of his eyes. In a raspy voice he added when he finally caught his breath again.
"I think we should somewhat hurry and yes, I would need your assistance in walking there. Though I am still on my feet, it seems I am in need of a steadying presence right next to me."

Gilbert shrugged his shoulders in a silent scoff. Gilbert had barely found out anything. Macavity's warehouse was the only famous one, that he knew of and the only warehouse worth knowing about. "Why guilty?" Gilbert shrugged, though was stalling as long as he could. The moment they touched, he'd be feeling everything Coricopat was feeling, and if it was as bad as it looked and as Coricopat felt... Gilbert's eyes narrowed and gazed away from the injured tom.
Did he have enough strength or willpower to ignore the pain upon contact? Enough to last to the warehouse?
Gilbert was standing beside the tom, but his teeth gritted in a painful way, as he hesitantly raised his arm and offered his more steady presence. It was the only way he knew how to brace himself, and his reasons for venturing into the warehouse kept him from denying his help. "Not entirely sturdy, but I bet...for now. I'm sturdier then you are. You said it's not far, right?"

Coricopat nodded weakly with a pained smile.
"Yes, not far. Two blocks down this way and then down left. The next warehouse to the right holds an entrance to his lair."
He laughed bitter with ended in a painful cough.
"I really hope, we still have a healer there at the moment. Somehow they seem to drop out so quickly all the time..."
Cori stepped forward in the indicated direction, though quickly leaning on the offered arm when he had to put his weight on his injured side as he started the short but still immensely long way home.

Gilbert had felt reassured by Coricopat's words, and was optimistic for a short walk. Though his optimism quickly faded at the sound of Coricopat's bitter laugh and pained cough. He didn't feel comfortable and wasn't looking forward to experiencing what Coricopat was currently feeling.
It rested heavily on his mind and he flinched as Coricopat went to lean on him. He had almost flinched away, but he had endured so much in the past. Pain would last long. He gritted his teeth, but continued to be a driving force forward. It was when he began to see flashes, mainly of the most recent events, that Gilbert began to shake slightly. With wavering eyesight, he grimaced. "You...definitely need a healer." His voice was strained, but he did bitterly think that they both needed a healer.((I am so sorry. Its...blah, but I couldn't think of anything else. Sorry sorry sorry! ))
