Coricopat winced with each step. Through clenched teeth he answered,
"No kidding, what was your first clue, the blood or my painful moanings?"
At the edge of his stamina and endurance his bitter sarcasm finally came to the forefront. He slowly dragged himself with Gilbert's help down the street and around the mentioned corner to that kinda unassuming entrance into the warehouse. All the way he tried to kept quiet but the expressions on his face apart from pain could tell anyone the way his thoughts were taking and how much he hated to be in a position like this. At the entrance Cori shot a disdainful look at the faceless black hench acting as guard. He just stumbled past him, still leaning somewhat heavily on Gilbert, his only comment to the hench was a almost gurgled
"Move! He is with me, so leave us alone!"
Cori really hoped that there was a healer present this time and that the healing den wasn't abandoned as so often.

Gilbert's steps in the direction to the warehouse became slower, more lethargic, as more pain began to seep in. Using all his willpower to focus on anything other then the pain was harder then he thought it'd be. He was beginning to even wonder if it was worth it. The pain and the risk of being in the warehouse. He flicked his head to the side, to try and clear it. But all he could do was moan in pain and mutter a wise ass crack in response to Coricopat's own dry tone. His muscles tensed as they made their way down the street, Gilbert's focus also was waning due to foreign thoughts and bits and flashes of memory coming to the forefront of his mind, due to the physical link with Coricopat.
He knew his determination was at its wit end, but finally. FINALLY. They had made their way to one of the entrances. One that he somehow just knew about, even before Coricopat directed them to it and before they were met by the guard. Gilbert's fur sponged out as he almost was touched by the faceless hench when he and Coricopat moved past him. Still, he gasped as the pain of Coricopat on top of his own gripped at him. He brought his free paw up to the side of his head, even though he knew that would do nothing to alleviate his pain.
"Come on." He was able to get out through force as he turned down the hall, leading them to the infirmary. Already knowing he was headed in the right direction, from the familiarity he already felt from this place. A part of him, deep down, knew it wasn't him. He wasn't familiar with the place, but until he could break contact and get a grip on his own self, it was now a part of him.

Coricopat stumbled more than he walked as got closer and closer to the room that was supposed to be the examination room for the resident healer. A glance down to his paw on the wound showed a big bloody splotch covering and soaking his fur there. So the wound had opened fully again ... great. As he focused forward again he noticed his vision getting tunneled. with a last effort, leaning more and more on Gilbert though dragging him along he crashed against the room's door, bursting it open, more or less falling into the room ...
