X2! Oh my gosh, hello! I was xxetceteraxx (I think? Or something quite similar) back in the day. This was my first foray into roleplaying and a great comfort to me through my high school career. And here I am now in my thirties, thinking fondly of this place and all of you.

They were quite nice, despite the flu that went around my entire family lol.
Bruh I play DnD and Pathfinder all the TIME! Have you played Baldur's Gate 3 yet?? I did pretty steady written roleplay for years and years after this place, but it's been at least a couple years since I was in a group. IRL chaos and all that. These days I just write with one friend.
How is life treating you guys? I'm a bit far from the high schooler I was back then haha. Living in the northwest right now with my partner of 11 years and our three wonderful cats, planning a wedding, building a house, prepping for human children, et cetera.

I stopped RPing right around the time this board died. This board was the last board I was RPing in. I still write fanfiction when real life gives me the time. Usually at night after I've put my rambunctious son to bed. He's so energetic though, lol, that I usually have just enough energy to relax with a show before I pass out. XD
I'm living down in the South these days. After the bs up north in Maine, I'm happy to not see snow, or as much snow, anymore. Nothing worse then spending hours at night, shoveling out the driveway while pregnant, only for a driver to come barreling down the street with a plow to clear the street and bury you and your driveway and ruin hours of work. I'm over the cold and snow.
The holidays were rough. Was pretty sick all December, and visiting family (all of which own dogs, which I'm allergic) only made my sickness worse. So it was miserable. But I survived!
I've heard decent things about Baldur's Gate 3, but I'm not much of a video game player myself. Does sound chaotic Cettie, but you sound happy. I'm glad.

While pregnant?? Aw, x2! Congratulations! I've just started that journey with my partner, but my hopes are high and my fingers are very much crossed.
And I'm ready to reboot Final Bow for 2024!
But omg, I got SO sick over Christmas myself. There was a flu going through my family. Was it similar for you? I was sick through most of January and had a cough that lasted until mid-February.
Today I'm watching the 1998 filmed production of CATS for the first time in a few years. And I'm having a great time!

I hope everything goes well for you! I had an extremely good pregnancy, though my sister in law had morning sickness morning, noon and night for the entirety of her pregnancy. She was miserable. I can't imagine. So here's hoping your journey is smooth!
A reboot??! I'm not sure how much interest there would be for a CATS RPG Board again. But could you imagine this board coming out of the ashes, yet again, and becoming active. Think this is one of only a few cats boards left even up. (Though I admit I haven't actually searched for any other cats rpgs in a long time.)
Yeah. I think there was just something going around around Christmas time. Most of my family got sick in November, or January. Before and after I did. Woo. And yeah. I got better pretty quickly after I stopped visiting my family. And could actually take the time to rest. But I did have a cough that lasted through most of Jan.
I've been watching a lot of old shows and movies lately and been going through a crazy nostalgia binge. xD

And yeah even here in the gold ole canada land so many flus over december and christmas - it went through my office horribly.
aoh yesss baldur gate 3 has been amazing - it prompted me and partner to finally get a ps5. SO many hours because i like to wander and do everything. finally started my durge run a little bit ago, trying to decide between romance halsin or shadowheart this run. but our dnd group has been ruthless to keep scheduling and everything together - we now do ren faires together and have been playing almost weekly for.... 4 and a half years. weve dene strahd, almost finished rime of the frostmaiden and half started ghosts of saltmarsh when our DM is on training courses lol.
