Personality: Violet is a complete psychopath and often unpredictable. She kills for the thrill of it. The black and red queen spends her time scheming, manipulating, and torturing anyone she can get her paws on. She is swift, cunning, and extremely ruthless.
Violet manipulates others by getting into their heads and using their secrets against them. First, she figures out their secrets by stalking and watching her prey from a distance, and also by invading their territory when they are not around. Once she has found out the secrets they've been hiding, she uses it against them, using the threat of exposure to make sure they do her bidding.
She also loves to mentally mess with her victims, as it gives her power over them. She tortures them mentally by finding out their fears (which she usually discovers by snooping around or forcing it out of her victims via physical torture) and using it against them. Violet gets a sexual charge from their mental and physical pain.
While Violet is extremely ruthless to most, there are some that she is less ruthless to (unless they betray her)-those that remind her of herself and those that are her equals/higher ups. Violet cannot bring herself to be as ruthless to someone she connects with because it would be like hurting herself, and she cannot be as ruthless to her equals and those higher in power because she fears the consequences (death). That being said, it is possible for her to develop friendships with her colleagues.
While most of her relationships with others are solely based on their fear of her, it is possible for her to have relationships that are not based on fear. If she views someone as her equal (or like her), she will be more cordial and friendly to them. Should one of these characters betray her, she will make sure that their torture lasts a long time.
Faults: She is very impulsive, especially when she is angry. She loses the ability to think rationally whenever she is angry. While her explosive anger makes her unpredictible to her enemy, it also makes her sloppy. Her movements are not as graceful and her impulsive thinking can put her in danger. Violet tends to drop her guard whenever powerful emotions like anger, happiness/pride (whenever she feels 100% sure of her victory before the battle is over), and grief hit her. Her craziness can also be used against her as well as she becomes less rational (therefore making it easier for her enemy to get inside her head).
History: Violet came from a very abusive family. Born to a schizophrenic mother and a drug dealing father, Violet and her older brother were often beaten and exploited by their parents. Her brother dealt with most of the blows in order to protect her. His protection was the only empathy she had experienced from someone. Most cats the two came across either turned their noses up at them and ignored them, or they were drug clients that joined in on the beatings. One night, while she was playing with a mouse, she heard hissing and yowling, a body drop, then silence. The little kitten decided to investigate and when she arrived at the crime scene, she was horrified.
A single knife, glistening in the moonlight, was protruding from her brother's chest. Violet scurried to the body, tears streaming down her face, and, with all her might, pulled the knife from the body. It was at that moment that she felt her mind snap. She fell asleep curled up against her brother's corpse and with the knife in hand. It was from then on that Violet began to hear malevolent voices in her head telling her to kill.
As the months passed, the abuse worsened, her hatred deepened, and the voices grew louder. She started off killing insects and rodents for practice, then moved on to bigger targets. Sensing her target's fear intoxicated her, and feeling their life slip away empowered her. What she loved most was when her victims began to beg for their lives and, feeling no empathy, cackling at them before extinguishing them. With each kill her bloodlust grew stronger. One day, she was finally ready.
Her parents had just came back from a drug deal when she pounced and killed them with the very same knife they used to murder her brother. She cackled at their fallen corpses.
Meanwhile, word had reached Macavity about a psychotic cat on a killing spree. Intrigued, he approached her one day and offered her a spot in his tribe and in return, she would hunt down and capture anyone he asked her to. If she ever stepped out of line or put the tribe in danger, she would be eliminated by Macavity.
RP Sample: A small, creepy smile crept upon the dark queen's face as she slunk into the shadows of the side alley. According to the information she forced out of
some innocent cats, this place was her target's home. Violet sniffed around for a strong scent while her ears swiveled, searching for any possible sound from her prey. Having found none, she slithered into the small space between some boxes and a brick wall, and sat patiently, waiting to strike the moment her target returned.
