Silly Scheming...Plots Apr 5, 2017 6:24:19 GMT -5

Alonzo is, at least when it comes to interacting with his fellow Jellicles, an overall friendly and good-natured tom. He appears to have a good handle on his emotions, as he rarely loses his temper at anyone and has been known to simply walk away from tense conversations rather than risk confrontation. He enjoys spending time with others socially, as long as the conversation or activity centers around unimportant matters or fun for its own sake. He is beginning to take especial notice of queens, and can be quite the gentletom when he puts forth the effort. However, he's made little real progress in this area as yet. For him, there are two main things in life: "Responsibilities" (which come before everything, and the foremost of which is protecting his family and tribe) and "Frivolities" (which is more or less how he categorizes the day-to-day grind of simply living, when all is ordinary and there are no crises to attend). Under no circumstances can these two be simultaneously attended to. As such, if a crisis is at paw, even if there is no immediate action he can take, he obsesses over it and what to do and can think of little else. On the other paw, if everything is going well, he is uncertain what to do with himself apart from the daily "training regimen" he's made up for himself. After that, he more or less drifts about trying to be sociable, but forming few "deep" relationships apart from those already long established with his family.
*Misto and Victoria, in the sense that he'd do anything for them because they're family and he's known them longer than anyone. But they aren't necessarily BFFs in the sense that they'd constantly "hang out" together. Indeed, Alonzo often feels like he hardly knows them at all, though that's largely his own fault for being bad at keeping up with others beyond "You alive? Good." Love to get your thoughts on Misto and Vick's perspectives, Cay. ((NOTE: Changing the Alonzo/Misto/Victoria sibling status to PENDING for now, as I'm not sure if Cay is coming back and Misto and Vick are now available... So this will be PENDING whatever Misto and Vick's player/s decide to do.))
*Munkustrap - He looks up to and admires Munk, and looks to him for leadership when it comes to any protecting that needs doing; but again, Lonz wouldn't necessarily know how to just sit and have a normal conversation. Happy to bounce more ideas, x2. ^^
*Other Jellicles... Probably mainly on "acquaintance" level at this point, we'll see how things flesh out in the RP. He's TRYING to be better at relationships. XD
*Open to any new friendships. He needs some help with this whole idea. XD
*The hench (unknown) who killed his parents
*Anyone who brings danger to the tribe - could even be a Jellicle, sometimes. He has very low tolerance for someone putting the Jellicles in danger just because of foolish actions. For example, Tumble's roaming around asking random city cats for information--if Alonzo caught him up to it, he'd be very angry.
*Quite bluntly, doesn't know how to do romance. Has plenty of crushes, but doesn't really know how to set out getting to know a queen better--pretty much goes paw in paw with his cluelessness in regards to friendships/relationships.
*Open to whatever comes about during RPing. I'm super attached to Bombalonzo, but am glad to pair him off with any other queen if it makes sense and creates plenty of drama. Mwahaha.
*With one of his brothers being a Hench, and the other magical (PENDING), there is bound to be some sibling drama going on.
*Love RPing anything adventurous or dangerous...especially high-risk Macavity-involved rescues. Hope you plan to be super evil and kidnap people, Moon.
*I'd love for him to develop an actual close friendship at some point, someone he can talk to about anything and can help him learn how to actually get on with others. Whether it's one of his siblings or any other random Jellicle - or, hey, even a hench, who knows. Whatever happens!
*Don't have too many specific ideas at the moment. Throw ideas my way and I'll probably go along with them!
Rumpelteazer is, most of the time, what you might call just an all-around happy cat. She has a cheery outlook on life, and enjoys doing just about anything with just about anyone. The only requirement is that it must be fun or exciting - preferably both. She thrives in the junkyard, where not only do exciting things seem to happen on a daily basis, but they have a whole party (a.k.a. The Jellicle Ball) every year dedicated to dancing the night away and giving someone a new life! Her love of fun makes her appear shallow to some, but she is pretty well in tune with others' emotions. She can tell when something is wrong, especially when it comes to her close friends, though she doesn't know the best way to help them. Her usual solution is to try and cheer them up, which works sometimes, but not with deeper problems. When it comes to her own emotions, she is rather at a loss; if anything happens to make her feel anything other than happiness, she does not know what to do with herself or those around her.
*Mungojerrie - obviously this will depend on who ends up playing Jerrie (Someone apply for him, I beg of you!!!), but I think it's pretty canonically safe to say they're at least close friends/partners-in-crime, whether or not they're siblings.
*Pretty much everyone, unless they are unkind to her fellow Jellicles
*Macavity (though she can't help being somewhat fascinated by him, and would certainly not be against the occasional exploration of hench territory if she thought she could get away with it...) ((Possibly more here depending on whoever plays Jerrie and how much, if any, past they want to have with Macavity))
*Anyone who hurts her friends
*Humans (Only to the extent that she has a grudge against them and enjoys stealing from them)
*Easily develops school-girl crushes on any strong, handsome tom, but wouldn't be likely to say anything unless the tom spoke up first.
*Admires Munk from afar, but would probably freak out if he actually liked her back. (Happy to do anything or nothing with this, x2. It's just there.)
*Ditto Macavity (more of a morbid fascination than anything, wouldn't run off and become a Hench or anything at this point, but the attraction is there).
*Open to romantic involvement with Jerrie if they aren't siblings. Could be cute. ^^
*Open to whatever happens in the RP.
*Not really sure what I'm going to do with her once this whole rescue mission thread is complete! Open to any and all ideas! Especially ones that get her into trouble and mischief.
Still quite young and somewhat immature even for his age, Tumble gives off the appearance (and it's usually genuine) of a fun-loving and carefree kit. He enjoys goofing off, learning new acrobatic tricks for the Jellicle Ball (or to show off to friends on any ordinary day), and just having a general good time. He still very much enjoys normal kitten games (playfighting, tag, make-believe, etc.) and thinks kits his age who are getting "too old for such things," and just want to sit around and talk like grownups, are crazy.
He does have a sweet side when it comes to those he cares about, such as fellow Jellicles. If someone's having a bad day or any other sort of difficulty, he'll listen and try to help them as best he can. He never really knows how to help, though, and quickly becomes uncomfortable and awkward about it. His default solution is to try to make them "feel better" by talking about lighthearted things or making them laugh; rarely does he have the courage to actually try to deal with the crux of the problem. If there's ever any talk of serious trouble/danger around the 'yard, he'd make bold, heroic talk, but the moment an actual danger arrives, he'd be terrified and let the older cats handle it.
There is one thing he is always serious about, though, and that is his past. He has an obsession for learning about his past. All he really has is what his mother told him - which, he's since learned, was mostly or entirely untrue. Since some one or other of the older cats tends to scold him for going around trying to gain information from strangers, his default hobby is to pester Grumbuskin, the only Jellicle he knows who was also part of Growltiger's Raffish Crew. However, this is the one area in which he's quite reckless and would do anything to get the information he wants; as such, he has no qualms about sneaking out despite the adults' disapproval, to wander the streets at any opportunity.
*Pouncival ((how close they are depends on whoever plays Pounce))
*Anyone who'll have fun with him
*His father ((it's complicated...he's obsessed with finding out about him, but if he ever actually found him he's not sure whether he'd hug or punch him))
*Doesn't seem likely at the moment
*Crushes, maybe, but he'd have to mature a bit for any serious relationship...but we'll see. Whatever makes sense in the RP.
*I'm sure his curiosity and wanderings will land him in some sort of trouble
*No specific ideas beyond that. Happy for any suggestions!
Fierce: Fang doesn't exactly wander about looking for fights. Having spent much of his kittenhood learning to fight and getting thrashed in the meanwhile, it's not what you'd call a favourite passtime of his. That being said, he's not difficult to provoke. If someone mildly annoys him, he may stick with bantering. If he feels himself mocked or insulted, however, he'll readily rise to a physical squabble. He finds it difficult to resist any sort of challenge, over anything from queens to petty name-calling.
Stubborn: As stated, he's a sucker for challenges. Once he's been given one (whether explicitly or implicitly), he won't leave off until he feels he's beaten it. This could be given the more 'positive' name of Persistence, except that some things are simply not worth running oneself ragged over. Fang has difficulty making any such distinction; the term 'choose your battles' means little to him. Once he's got an idea in his head, he has to stick it through to the end - which can make him appear steadfast or simply ridiculous, depending on the situation.
Obedient: That being said, he has a certain respect for authority. Obviously he takes any direct order from Macavity without question, but also from any hench he sees as above or 'senior' to him in rank. However much he may resent a particular cat, he knows better than to outwardly defy anyone 'in' with the chief. Direct orders are the only thing that would dissuade him from his petty quarrels or more ridiculous ideas, though this rarely happens as it's rarely worth their time so long as it's not interfering with a job.
Ambitious: He is forever trying to 'better himself.' Though he respects those above him (whether genuinely or forcedly), his goal is to move up in the ranks as quickly as possible. He more or less considers this his 'life' or 'ongoing challenge' to be beat. Thus, as much as possible, he tries to take on the most prominent or difficult tasks in order to impress his seniors, and thereby catch Macavity's notice. Of course, his tendency to take on less important 'challenges' is a deterrent to this goal.
*Wouldn't really call anyone a "friend," more like either an "ally" or a "challenger." Among the henches, they could be either or both of these.
*Anyone he's trying to "beat" at something at any given time
*Anyone he sees as "in the way"
*Not opposed to it, though not sure he'd have the time.
*Though could definitely see him trying to "woo" a queen on a dare, then end up getting more attached to her than he intended.
*Whatever happens. Drama, drama, drama!
*He will definitely (eventually) find out about his Jellicle siblings one way or another.
*Anything that lands him in confrontations with Jellicles
*Or drama with fellow henches
*Death, despair, drama...
