Character Name:Manfredd
Tribal Affiliation: Hench
Tribal Position: (This will be assigned, but you may PM the moderators with your
request if you'd like a specific position when creating your character.)
Age:Adult
Gender: Male
Family: he has three childeren of which he is unaware, (as for any others he is certainly not bright enough to argue if a "lost" sibling or family member turned up!
Physical Appearance:slate grey with lighter grey and brown stripes. he has a very large bulk with double paws, a broad head and face with a mournful look. his massive frame is solid muscle and bone.
Personality:
not the brightest tool in the shed: slow witted, thinking is not Manfredd's strong suit. he is smart enough to let others do
that. he has a remarkably thick skin when it comes to insults about his intelligence, most of the time he'll just nod and keep on going. he is rather shy when it comes to queens and courting, the big lug has been around the block a time or two
but still comes off the bashful bumpkin. part of this is because he's so darn big and dose't want to hurt them!
minion of the year: Manfredd is the followers follower, even if an order doesn't make sense to him he will carry it out fully
trusting that the Superior giving it must a good reason for giving it!
however they must be careful because if for example they tell him to stack some goods in a particular corner and he knows that the roof leaks onto that spot he won't say anything about it he'll just go ahead and stack it there because obviously the one who told him to do it had a good reason for wanting those boxes right there!
it is this plodding patience that carries him through the dullest of routines, set him to a task and he will keep going till it's done.
not all that bad: a fairly genial cat when left to his own devices, he really doesn't enjoy hurting people so he try's to do it as quickly and efficiently as possible. nothing personal, it's just business....
sadly in regards to the environment in which he lives he really has a sweet heart and is dreadfully loyal to those who treat
him well, and on more than one occasion he has let Mac or some of the other higher ups take their frustrations out on him
simply because he can take a beating better than some of the others.
he doesn't like seeing queens and kittens hurt and will interfere if the aggressor is not Mac or one of his inner circle.
he really does not mind losing out to the "Good Guys", there are plenty of other rival "bad Guys" to win out over after all!
Faults
in one way or another most of his personality can be seen as faults!
among some of the most serious is that his not questioning orders can lead to misunderstandings, such as the infamous door incident, and also means that he can be taken advantage of by those who think or at least TALK faster than he does.
also among the Henches his dogged loyalty to those who treat him well can put him in binds that when caught between two conflicting parties.
describing word...Henchman.
History: Manfredd was born in the alleys, his size and strength standing out. so there was little surprise that he fell into the role of muscle for one pack and gang after another developing a reputation for leg breaking. he was brought into Macavity's empire because of this.
he quickly distinguished himself as a durable and reliable fighter. at some time he sired three kittens, the mothers of whom did not see fit to tell him about. up until recently he has worked in Macavity's operations in the Underground (Subaway) stations and the shops that service them. to date the low point of his career was when he was told to guard a door and a rival gang escaped past him. when he was confronted about it his answer was, "but you said to guard the door not stop anyone coming through it, just look at that door, not a mark on it, not a scratch, no sir no one hurt that door!". fortunately for Manfredd they realized that he wasn't bright enough to be shining them on. despite this with the recent defections of two of the Henches notable combatants it was decided to move Manfredd up to the Warehouse.
he was on a run with a team collecting...tribute from from "clients" of Macavity's protection business during the recent Jellicle infestation of the Warehouse and has only just returned.
Powers: no mystical though he does have a remarkable pain threshold.
RP Sample:at the front door Manfredd took his place by the door, his slate gray bulk with its brown and grey stripes blending nicely with the concrete. he took a long sniff of the evening breeze and his mournful look brightened to merely depressed, which was down right gleeful for him! Miss Gridd was around somewhere, he knew the black toms had gone out on an errand for her and had just returned.
he shook his head, he would have liked to see what was up but they had told him "it's time for you to go and guard the door and make sure no one who isn't approved go's through, thats very important Manfredd" so that's that!"
nope no one who wasn't approved was getting in!
Comments: he will content himself with any queen who can deal with his being...slow with patience and kindness.
