Name: Felicitia
Gender: Female
Age: Adolescent (equivalent of 19)
Tribe: Jellicle
Tribe Position: n/a
Family: Perhaps of some far-off relation (second cousins, etc.?) to Griddlebone? It's only an idea!
Appearance:
Snowy and pristinely white, Felicitia’s fur is what many can expect of an Angora; the only small changes are what her mother’s Maine Coon blood added to the mix. Her furry tail, swathed in white, thick fur, has faded rings around its body, obviously inherited from her mother’s own markings. She also bears a few faded flecks and stripes of a muted, brown-grey color around her eyes. Her coat is not extremely thick, thanks to years of specific grooming and shampoos - it clings to her figure rather nicely, only becoming the expected pouf in her very thick tail.
Lithe and luxurious, Felicitia boasts all the pale and snowy beauty of her Angora bloodlines. Her mother's Maine Coon genes were lost to her star-white fur and wildly fluffy tail, but there are traces of the exotic Spanish in Feli’s body and build. Instead of bearing the soft and small countenance of an Angoran lady, Felicitia is tall and slender, with long legs and an equally-lengthy torso. Her body is streamlined, with hips that a man’s hand could span from wrist to fingertip, and a relatively flat chest. Her father was a French-born Angora purebred, and her mother a Maine Coon purebred that the family had adopted; Feli is the third oldest of a litter of seven boys, and she is the only girl. That being so, she is all genteel and soft slopes of curves, a shadow of what femininity she will bear in the coming years of her adulthood. Her eyes are a warm, golden brown, pleasant almond shapes that curl up at the corners in Maine Coon fashion.
A natural shade of peroxide blonde, Felicitia’s hair has only the slightest tinging of honey to differentiate its color from her fur. She keeps it generally short, as the longest length it ever claimed was dusting her shoulders. It is smooth and silky, bearing her father's elegant texture and rarely bears a strand out of place. The hair that grows beneath the natural layers of blonde is a somewhat tawny brown, littered with characteristic Maine Coon spots - one of very few things she inherited from her mother. It's not uncommon to see her dress it with flower petals and tiny gems she finds in jewelry boxes.
Human Appearance: Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan.
Personality:
Quite the bit more humble than her brothers and parents, Felicitia has become well-aware of her privileged upbringing. Where her family would have offered foot and teeth to have her mated off with plenty of kittens, Feli wanted to experience a life as a young queen who would keep her own. Her family agreed, and though she now lives with her mother and their elderly owner, she is quite the independent young lady. She seems altogether a very aloof and charismatic young queen; she has a laugh that has been trained to the most charming audible, and she has a very likable quality to her person that makes conversation quite easy.
She is not without her faults, however. Being as sheltered as she was for so long, Felicitia is a bit of a naive young lady - not entirely ditzy, but definitely ignorant when it comes to certain topics. She will listen with wide eyes to most any conversation she finds to be interesting, and will be rapt in her attention until it ends. She may be the prime example of a hostess, and can certainly maintain a good party and conversation, but she’s simply artless when it comes to things like sensing skilled sarcasm and wit. She may seem a tad dumb to a few, but it is simply the fact that she likes to innocently believe everycat is a good person in some way; she is always apt to reserve judgement on a person.
She is a flirty little thing - not deceitful, but she hoardes attention. Feli has always had a preference for toms much older and maturer than she - those who will ground her and keep her "tame", though providing her with little fancies and presents 24/7 wouldn't be a bad arrangement either. She's spoiled, of course, but not completely without vision. Were she to become a mother, she'd devote herself to the role entirely.
Of course, she is only so serious when she feels it necessary. She was born and bred for entertainment, to be a spectacle and a delight to the eyes of men and keep her prim, proper priorities about her. She really has only rebelled in the slightest sense of the word in living on her own - she is still the daughter of a rich tomcat, and she will conduct herself as such.
Faults:
Her naivety, and she is sometimes too gullible for the act of charisma or charm. Her childhood did teach her to be something like a ‘submissive’ woman, and she tends to "fall in love" very quickly, throwing herself into ditzy flings that never last. She is often upset by trivial things, and can get a little hot-headed over too many people talking to her at once, or not enough people paying attention to her. Shiny things and expensive trinkets are short-cuts to her good favor, as well. She never admits she's wrong, about anything, and can get close to stomping her foot during arguments.
Describing word: Naive.
History:
Her father and mother were housepets, surprisingly; owned by an elderly woman with a particularly rich family, Felicitia was pampered with pink ribbons and pearls from a very early age. Sshe lived in the prim and proper fantasy world her parents had wanted for their children. She was their only daughter, and was spoiled endlessly. Her mother delighted in her, and she had her father wrapped around her finger; she wanted for little, but was taught only kindness and thanks in return.
Her father, though not an active attendant of the Jellicle ball himself, often visited the streetcats to help plan events and meet the local cats - Feli was often present for these trips, riding on her father's shoulders and getting a general view of the area. When she reached her adolescence, instead of being mated to an older tom that her owner wanted to breed her with, she convinced her parents to let her live on her own, with a friend of her father's in the Jellicle society. The result was that Felicitia could visit the Jellicles and their Junkyard, staying for short holidays with her father's friend - an older tom, whom she grew to have a girlish crush on, though nothing came of it.
Now, approaching her adulthood, she is more focused on being an independent girl free of her family's wishes - her father has died, leaving the Victorian-style apartment her owner lives in to her mother and herself, her brothers having been sold off for their pretty faces. She visits the Junkyard often, and finds the Jellicles absolutely fascinating. She is not as wily as she thinks she is, nor is she as spunky and brave, but she's learning, and she looks forward to every new experience.
RP Sample:
Could she have been late? No, no, that wasn't possible! The young queen sat against the windowsill of 'her' empty apartment, staring down into the streets below. It was a busy Sunday, full of life and trade and business, and she had missed the magician who performed across the street from the parlor window! Normally, if she were especially attentive, he would let her in on an act and scare the crowd with a yowl, for which he would place little treats of fish under the sill and be on his way - but he had the gall not to show up this day, it seemed. Preening the silky fur of her tail, Felictia heaved a dramatic sigh, leaning against the window sill and fussing with the fur between her fingers. How much more boring could this day possibly get?
Comments: Spoiled brat who probably follows poor Bustopher around like his shadow ♥ She's a character I've previously written (god like 2 years ago??) and I hope she's alright!! u3u
