Sillabub stretched out all her limbs, after her rest. Despite the dinner date interrupted, strike that ruined; by an annoying young and naive kitten. Sillabub had gotten a peaceful rest and felt refreshed and renewed. Sillabub took her time grooming and brushing her fur. It was still a few hours till her next patrolling shift and while she was curious if Oracle and Fangorn were still conversing or curious on how their night went after she left, she was determined to put the tom out of her mind. Once she was presentable enough, she slipped out of her room and made her way down the hall.
((Terrible start...Just terrible.))

having left Demeter Manfredd moved along the halls to check see what his next duty rotation was. as he did a pretty little golden queen, almost Demeter in miniature, suddenly popped out in front of him. with great difficulty he managed to stumble his massive frame around and past her rather than plowing into her like a runaway freight train as he plowed into the floor.

Sillabub didn't get much further from her room, when Manfredd came around the corner at high speed. She turned gracefully in time to dodge him plowing into her. Though she needed have bother, as he did his own thing to avoid her and she had spun just in time to see him make a head dive into the floor. She stared at him for a beat, curious. She always saw Manfredd as the tall and immovable wall. The strong pillar, that could not be shaken. So to see him fall head first to the floor had caught her curiosity. It was a fleeting thought and she held out her paw, offering it to him. She didn't expect him to take it, as she was a tiny petite thing, compared to him. But she felt it necessary to at least offer. "You okay?"

the large tom leaned forward and gave the proffered paw a friendly rub with his big block like head. "Hi Sil," he said to his tiny partner. of the Henches she was the one that he had been teamed with most often since moving up from the subway system. with a slow and ponderous motion he got to his paws "yeah I'm right as rain, I was just headed to The Cork Board to check what my next duty was, if it was sittin guard or patrolin with you." slowly Manfredd blinked, "met a queen who looks a lot like you only taller an softer. might be a good match with you as a shill."

Sillabub drew her paw back after his head rub. She folded her arms as she watched his slow movements to get onto his paws on his own. The lemon shorthair, could remember when she was still young and had joined the henches. She use to follow Manfredd around when she wasn't training with Rumpus. And she had affectionately called him Mana-ray. As a young adult she had ceased from calling him by that nickname. "Good to hear Freddie."
It wasn't as childish a nickname she came up for him when she first joined, and she hadn't heard any complaints from the larger tom yet. "Was she a jellicle", she spat in disgust. "An alley, or one of us?"

the large toms massive shoulders shrugged like a landslide, "dunno, she's with us now, an was worried like about being useful so I didn't ask. just told her if anybody tried to take what was hers to give that she was to let me know and I'd straighten 'em out." Manfredd said. "so where were you off to?"

She's with us now.
That was all Sillabub heard, and all she needed to hear. That was good enough for her. Even if this queen was a jellicle. That'd be one less jellicle they had and it was good that she got out of that tribe while she could. She nodded her head. "I trust you'll protect her." There was no one else that was more trustworthy and stalwart in the Hench tribe then Manfredd. She had deep respect for Rumpus, but the black sleek tom was more impulsive.
"Hmm?" Sillabub hadn't thought much passed grooming and strolling out into the hallway of the warehouse. "Hadn;t planned anything. I just woke up. Did part of Fangorn's patrol with him last night." She left it at that. "Where were you off to in such a hurry?"

slowly Manfredd blinked, "just headed down to the cork board to see if my next duty was sitting watch or patrolling with you, I hate being late when I'm supposed to be on the clock," he said. the large tom cocked his block like head, "wonder f the Yarders have noticed yet."

Sillabub was pretty sure his next duty shift wasn't until tomorrow, or later that evening. But she wasn't about to tell him, only for her to be wrong and for Manfredd to get in trouble with Macavity. So she moved to head down the hallway, towards where the board was posted. "I'll join you. I want the company." It wasn't a suggestion on her part. She was going to accompany Manfredd even if he didn't wish her to. Her ears did slant downwards at the mention of yarders. "Noticed?" She gritted her teeth.
"If our new member is no longer part of the yard...?" She scoffed in sudden ire. "Why would those good-for-nothings notice her missing? I've been away from the junkyard for years and they still haven't noticed." Sillabub crossed her arms, her eyes glaring down the hallway. "Or if they have, they don't f**king care."

Manfredds rounded ears dipped as confusion crossed his face, "her?" he asked. "ohh no, no last night,or the...night before maybe... Fangorn and I did a run where I made a distraction and he slipped in and scent marked that big old tire of theirs. he was in and out slick as you would please. would have liked to bring you in but you were busy." the big tom strolled along not even thinking of objecting to Sillabub's presence.

Sillabub shrugged nonchalantly. Still miffed. And still with a whole lot of baggage on her shoulders when dealing with the jellicles. "Like I said, I'd be surprised if they have. They don't tend to noticed anything unless it's two inches in front of their faces." She flicked her mane back in agitation, as she continued to move in the desired direction. "So you and Fangy, huh?" The lemon shorthair did wonder why Fang hadn't mentioned it to her last night, but it wasn't a big deal. "What exactly were you boys up to and what did you expect to happen?"

the large tom tilted his head "when I was running with the Alley packs, it was a way to make a territorial challenge. on acount that the couldn't keep you out ey? so if nothing else it should tick off their Protectors and Hunters. THIS they'll notice. if they DON't then every other pack and clan in the city will start to think that the Junkyard aint theirs anymore. you see?"

Having been part of the tribe in the past, she felt she had a more unique insight into the tribe. But even she admitted that her view on them was colored not only by her bad experience with them, but also through the eyes of a kitten. Still, Sillabub didn't know how many of them lived by the laws of the street clans. Too many of them were house cats, plump, prim, privileged, and spoiled.
The few that were from the streets or had the street smarts had left or had defected to the hench tribe. There were probably a few left from the jellicles that were intelligent. She wasn't about to underestimate the enemy. She did shrug her shoulders. Her mane flowing past her shoulders slightly from the movement. "Even they notice, you think the pacifists are going to accept the challenge?"
She chewed on her bottom lip, before adding. "Which street clan do you think would take on the jellicles if the jellicles don't notice? Or you hinging on the rumors to undermine their tribe?" Sillabub pouted ever so slightly, but did give a sidelong glance at the taller and muscular tom.
"It's a good idea, Freddie. And I hope it works. But you know those damn jellicles have a code of their own, and don't tend to abide by the norm." She mused in her own mind. Knowing, or suspecting that if any cats on the street did get wind of the junkyard no longer belonging to the Jellicles and rushed the yard. If she knew the jellicle's track record, no doubt they'd end up opening their arms wide open to the strangers and allow them to live with them in the yard.

the large tom's tail did a slow swish " 'sides if the Alleys start making runs on the Yard the Humans are sure to notice. and that'll mean trouble for 'em nine ways from Sunday." he gave another monumental shrug. "better them than us."

"Always, better them then us." Sillabub couldn't help but to amend. She turned down a corner, the next hallway short and leading right into the lobby of the warehouse. "Assuming you don't have a shift anytime soon, what have you got planned for this morning and afternoon?" Idle chit chat wasn't exactly her forte. She was much more use to throwing her dagger at targets or for practice then trying to come up with a conversation that kept the awkward silence at bay.
