Deception chuckled darkly as he walked down the halls towards his room. Having just conned some poor alley into taking nip, making the tweaking tom indebted to him, gave him a sense of giddiness. Not enough to say, skip gaily down the hall, which was the reason behind his sinister laughter. His mind was already thinking up the opportunities for payment. He could come and go as he please in the warehouse, and had so many side jobs and debts owed to him. Life was good. He came to his room, and instead of heading inside, he stretched out and then lounged up against his door. With his paws behind his head, he relaxed back. His eyes peeked over at the sound of noise coming near.

Tucker had been stalking down the hall until he heard such "joyful" laughter. The shapely black Tom shrugged decided to follow it, until he realized that it was Deception. Such a rowdy Tom he was. He made he way over to the tom deciding to speak with him since he couldn't stalk, I mean, find his sister. Casually he sat right next to the other and let that charming smile of his flash. "Hello~" he greeted with a slight purr. He was wearing that jacket of his as usual and smelled faintly of nip, oddly sweet nip.

Deception kept his eyes on Tucker as the tom got closer. His mood never failing to change. He was momentarily surprised by the tom sitting so close to him, but let his shoulders roll back as his smirk widened. "Ah. So you're the stench I've been running from. Sodding 'ell Tucker." Rolling his eyes upwards, he ignored the charmed greeting, still unsure if Tucker lived up to his standards or not. He hadn't really gotten to know the tom yet. "Do you need something?" He raised his eyebrow questioningly, wondering if there was an opportunity to be had in the tom.

Tucker glanced at deception and shrugged getting comfortable himself. " If you're running from me you aren't doing a good job" he murmured while placing his paws against the ground while he leaned on the wall. The Tom hadn't really ever seeked out deception before but he figured why not, plus he. .......was pretty pleasant to look at. Hearing the question his ears twitched at the smooth voice " I don't need anything" he Responded " You just sounded so happy. ........I wanted to join you~".With that Tucker looked up at the ceiling, why was deception staring at anyway?

Deception gave him a peculiar look. He looked happy? Well, he did do things that benefited him and amused him. "Livin' the good life Tucker, what's not to love?" The peculiar look easily relaxed into an amused expression, though still guarded. Dece wasn't one to show vulnerabilities lightly. "What exactly did you want to join me on? An actual activity...or we're you here to flatter me and tell me 'The company'?"

Tucker snickered to himself. "Well flattering is my specialty and you seem to be in a good mood so why not flatter yourself a little" he mused. His tail swayed as he sat there,he seemed so logical...and charming rather than frank,he wondered what others thought of him sometimes...but all that really mattered is what. "She" thought of him,his sweet little queen

Deception still looked Tucker over with a watchful eye, however, he didn't see himself getting too chummy with the tom. He had high standards, with everyone, he knew this. "I don't need to be flattered, and I don't need to pat my own back." He sighed as he stood up. "What is it exactly that you're up to, and is there something beneficial in it for me?" Those were the questions that mattered to him, and it seemed like those were the only questions that ever seemed to matter to him. His eyes were back on Tucker, waiting for answers he knew would come back negative. Tucker probably wasn't in to any job at the moment.

Tuckerlb sighed "Haven't you ever heard the saying all work and no play makes a dull boy?" He asked with a shake of his head. Hearing the tom's question his ears twitched slightly "I can't say I'm really into anything, if you are asking if I'm looking for a job trust me, I wouldn't want any partners around. " he murmured the last part a little sadisticly before chuckling and returning to his happier voice, flashing a smile. "I'm sorry, but I seem to have nothing to value you with. You don't seem to be one that values company, and that is all I offer at the moment"

Deception cracked an evil smirk and in a childish moment he pinched Tucker's cheek, a classic grandmother move, before letting go of his cheek and slapping it twice. Not hard, they were more like full palm hitting taps. "Oh I value company, Tuck...I'm just very choosy in which company I like to be in." He stretched silently, and then rose to his feet. With his tail swishing from side to side in mild annoyance, Deception spoke once more. "Well if you ever do have an interesting job we could both benefit from, let me know." The white and brown tabby gave Tucker a cocky head tilt, before he snorted and walked off and away from the tom.

Tucker shrugged at the nonchalantly behavior and decided to go do something else
