Uhura rolled her eyes and turned a way with a resigned sigh. She didn't enjoy getting wet anymore than anyone else, and was certainly not leaving the shelter now that she was here. Looking for something to occupy herself meanwhile, she plucked a leaf off a nearby branch and held it out under the drops until a small puddle of water was in it, then pulled it back in and drank from it.

Solus had begun to shake even more as they sat there waiting for the rain to end. Was it normal for a cat to shake like that? But it didn't matter, storms were much worst for solus. He could feel the storm in both the normal world and the spirit world.

Uhura couldn't help noticing the other cat's shaking, seeing as they were surrounded by leaves and branches that shook along with him. What a strange tom. Was he actually afraid of rain? Maybe he had had bad experiences with rain as a kit; maybe he had some mental illness; or who knew, maybe he did actually 'see into the beyond' and feel a lot more than just the real world. Uhura sighed. She wanted as little interaction with Solus, or any cat for that matter, as possible; it was safer that way. But she couldn't help wanting to do something out of common decency. She refilled the leaf with rainwater and held it in Solus's direction, offering him a drink. For all she knew, it would just scare him more.

Solus jumped a little seeing the paw suddenly reach towards him but when he noticed that it was Uhura he hesitantly sniffed the water. He stared at her the entire time making sure she wouldn't do as many queens did and try to touch him. He stared up at her with his misty gray eyes and carefully licked at the water his eyes never leaving her. If one didn't know any better they would probably think solus was being sensual but he was really just being careful. When he was done he pulled away carefully and looked at her. "......... Thank you" he then looked at the floor refusing to stare at the rain again. He was still lightly shaking, the rain seemed so loud, so cold. He hated the rain.

Uhura had more or less expected Solus to take the leaf into his own paws to drink from it. But instead he simply leaned over and drank the water, so she sat awkwardly holding the leaf until he was done. "...You're welcome," she returned uncertainly, pulling the leaf away and turning once more to watch the rain. She noticed Solus deliberately keeping his eyes off the rain. He must actually have fears about it. She did hope the storm would end soon, this was the strangest situation she had ever found herself in.

Solus had been a staring at the ground until the rain finally stopped and he looked up. Suddenly he heard a soft voice and his suspension that the rain kept the voices away was confirmed. He saw the ghostly black queen and sighed, she was drenched. He sighed and got up going over to het forgetting all about Uhura being there. "Oh, Skylar....you're all wet " he murmured while moving his hands to caress her but she stepped back "Solus. ?...you don't like to be touched he gave a sigh before giving a sweet smile "it's ok, I'm touching you...... plus your soaked" and so he pushed away his discomfort to pull her into a warm hug, and eventually a soft smile appeared on his face . "Better? " He asked to which she nodded. "So, what did you come for today? "

Uhura stared at Solus in complete bewilderment. Then she realised he must be speaking to one of the "voices" in his head. Still creepy and weird, but at least explainable as "normal" for Solus. She looked away, almost as embarrassed as if there really were someone else there to whom Solus was speaking. But then - who knew - perhaps there was. Either Solus was utterly mad, or there really were ghostly cats wandering around that only he could see. She tended to believe the former. Looking out under the branches, she noted the change in weather. "The rain is finished," she observed aloud, not really expecting him to hear or acknowledge her.

Solus smiled, actually smiled. His usually offeset gaze looking softly at the cat he was talking to. His ears gently flattened against his head and his dormant tail, surprisingly, swaying side to side in a happy manner. Hearing that the rain was done a deep purr escaped him "I'm glad the rain is over, I assume that why no one would visit earlier but since it stopped they came to see me. " he didn't look at the dark queen as he responded but it was obvious that he was speaking to her. After that he directed his attention back to his guest, speaking softly in a soothing tone as she helped her with whatever delima she was having.

What did one even say to that? Oh I'm so glad your ghosty friends who no one else can see have finally chosen to honor you with their presence. Tell them hello from me.? This situation was entirely too strange. However, Uhura didn't want to be seen just wandering aimlessly, so she stayed here for the time being. At least it was hidden and Solus was more or less ignoring her. "How nice for you," she said to Solus, before directing her attention to her own thoughts and where to go and what to do next.

Solus nodded before returning to the conversation at hand,he seemed like he was quite enjoy the company, however time came when his vistor left and his smile faded away. He then sighed and laid down staring out at the land,he would wait for the water to evaporate before going back out there

Uhura watched Solus from the corner of her eye. Whereas a few moments ago he had seemed to brighten considerably and become quite lively, now he seemed to sink down into depression again. She glanced out from under the branches. The rain had indeed stopped, and had not started again; so that wasn't the cause of his sadness. She supposed his "ghosty friend" had left him. Not wanting to venture out of the shelter until at least the grass dried up a bit, she stayed under the shelter for a few moments more. To pass the time, she took another drink of water from a leaf, vaguely wondering if she would have to endure more conversing with Solus now that he didn't have his imaginary friends to talk to. Well, she certainly wasn't going to be the one to start a conversation; and perhaps he would remain too preoccupied to speak again, and she could soon slip away unnoticed.

Solus gave a quite sigh and closed his eyes while laying his head on his paws, even though it was a sort conversation it had made him tired. Perhaps he would. ........just. .......drift...............into sleep, nice sweet sleep. He seemed to have dozed off, his ears twitching cutely as he rested, though while his body rested he was still alert, hearing everything and feeling everything around him.
