some of his favorite visitors were Gus and his family, he loves their apreciation of literature!
it was from Gus that he learned that the tribe was more than a rumor, and it was with the old tom that he made his first trips into the yard. he was very impressed with Old Deuteronomy and offered to chonical the tribes events and history for him.
Owen is what he calls the Tribes Memory, its Archivist if you will,
and he has been grooming Jemima for the position as he sees in her the talents of a Bard of old.
he was very pleased when Tango came to stay there and was cautiously supportive of Tangos attempts to bring the classics to the street rowdies. unfortunately the incident with Tangos human happened and he fled in search of her before Owen had the opportunity to introduce him to the tribe.
he is another cat who up until this time has only openly come to the Yard for Tribal events like The Jellicle Ball, at other times he comes and gos quietly so as to better observe for the writeing of his histories.
RP
the brown and grey tom sighed as he watched the humans handling the books like the were little more that an inconvenience to be dumped at the bin at the collections desk and not the precious treasures that they really were. as the Library quieted for the evening he patrolled the stacks looking for stragglers and mice. Owen sighed, he missed Tango and hoped he was doing well. then he went down to the rear area to wait for Jemima to begin her lesson for the night.
]Comments:
Owen is literate and quite intelligent, he also rarely uses contractions or slang.
as he has the libraries collection of information he can be a great resource. Owen is not actually as old as his mannerisms comes across, perhaps the influx of young blood into the tribe can coax him out of his shell.
