Name: Deception
Nickname(s): Dece
Gender: Male
Age: Young Adult
Tribe: HenchCat
Tribe Position: Member
Family: Admetus-Brother, Ragnvald-Twin Brother; Electra-Cousin
Appearance: He has a bigger physique then his younger brother Admetus. His bigger weight and appearance is attributed to his muscles. He has great chest muscles, abs, and strong muscles in his arms and legs. His facial structure just screams "Strength". He also has very intense eyes and a steamy smoldering gaze. Overall he is a white and brown tabby tom. There are some streaks and accents of Black and dusky grey. He has blue eyes (The only difference in appearance between him and his twin Ragnvald).
Human Appearance: Nikolaj Coster Waldau
Personality: He is a very strong-willed tom. A statement that is underrated. An Obstinate tom would be a better description. Though being stubborn is part of it, he has preset opinions about everyone and everything and is very inflexible when it comes to trying to convince him otherwise. Deception is many things, but he doesn't yield to others. Of course many believe this to be a flaw, and it very well could be, however, Deception sticks to his opinions (even if they are wrong). He is one who will stick to his own convictions or principles, no matter how twisted or corrupt his thoughts and opinions may be.
He has shown himself to be highly resourceful and street smart; especially when he found himself alone on the streets after Rage and he split up. Dece can prove himself to be real adaptive to new situations. Even those he isn't adaptive to, his self confidence never waivers. He is cunning and he is able to accept cold, hard necessities without ever flinching. Deception just has a unique way of thinking, and this way of thinking usually helps him find ways out of a situation or opportunities to exploit, or weaknesses in an opponent that he can take advantage of. This above all else is what got him noticed, and why he was recruited as a hench cat.
Dece was always on the wildside, and carefree. He is just a free spirit, someone who will do what he wants, when he wants. He never really thinks about the consequences. Most of everything he does is purely gut instinct. (Where as Rage does nothing but think) Not a whole lot of thinking goes on in Dece's mind. (He was a lot like Admetus in many ways), though Dece is harder to crack, not as open and is more stern. Stern with his actions, not with his voice or words. He doesn't flirt and shag everything in sight, like his younger brother does. Deception has always been more choosy with his preferred mates/sleeping partners. Doesn't mean he doesn't entertain from time to time, but he has his standards. Truth be told, Deception is truly a loner.
He is also a temperamental tom; sensitive to others emotions and moody when things don't go his way. Though, to clarify, he is only sensitive to others emotions, when those emotions are being dumped on him. Deception has a tough time swallowing authority, and would rather rebel against it. But ultimately, Deception doesn't like being told what to do, and does whatever his heart desires. He'll live those in authority alone, as long as they don't try and tell him what to do. If someone does, he'll take his sweet time to do it and then purposely muck it up, and somehow turn the meaningless errand into an advantage for himself. That's really the only way he'll do anything for someone else, is if it benefits him in some way. If someone asks him to do something, he'll "negotiate" to get something in return, or just do what he wants to do if the other won't negotiate. This makes him wildly unpredictable, and to many Hench Cat opinions, wildly dangerous.
Faults: Deception can be very blunt and usually only with information or conversations that need a more subtle and delicate touch. Being on the more selfish and uncaring side of things, he usually doesn't mind if he's stepped on any toes or crushed anyones feelings with his blunt attitude. Which is yet another one of his many faults. Deception is selfish, there's no ifs and or buts about it. He thinks primarily of himself only. Once upon a time he looked out for Ragnvald, and he still loves his twin, but not having to look out for him; only having himself to worry about has been fantastic. It's more freeing, and that's all he wants is to be free, free to do what he wants and free of any responsibility.
And like his name suggests, Deception is good at deceiving others. He is manipulative. He could be manipulative with getting his own way or getting others to do things for him. However, he is more deceptive when it comes to his wild antics. If he goes a touch too far, or if there are bodies lying in his wake all traceable back to him or the Henches, he is somehow able to deceive others into believing it was someone else, to save his own ass. Again, he doesn't care who if anyone gets in trouble for his unpredictable behavior, as long as he doesn't then everything is good. However, if someone did catch him on his bull, and accused him of being deceptive, he'd be honest about it, with pride.
Describing word: Free-Spirited
History: The twins, Ragnvald and Deception, were born first, a few years before Admetus came along. Deception was the older of the two, by a few minutes. The two of them were inseparable and did everything together. They were identical twins in every way; except for their eye color. However, a few years later, their father abandoned them and their mother. Their mother changed drastically after that, and both Ragnvald and Deception, though were still close, began to react differently to the new changes.
Deception became louder, more rambunctious and wild, where as Ragnvald grew more quiet, introverted and broody. Deception would still be there for Rage, when he wasn't out enjoying his freedom and getting into trouble. Their mother, soon learned she was once again pregnant. Though she really didn't want another kitten, with a tom who was clearly an irresponsible father and mate, but she couldn't blame the unborn kitten either. Through most of her pregnancy with Admetus she was depressed, but did give birth to her third son.
The three boys lived together for a time, but their mother seemed to dote on Admetus (being the youngest) so the twins didn't hang around Admetus or their mother for long. Deception took Ragnvald out among the streets, both old enough to fend for themselves and they both felt she'd be able to provide better for one son, then three. However, Deception started running with the rowdier crowds, ones that Rage could never fit in to or belong. Still, Deception was Rage's pillar, and he felt wrong without Deception, so he stayed.
Eventually, Deception was found by a group of Henches, two of which he had partied with not two nights prior. They recruited only him into the Hench army. Rage was surprised, even though he shouldn't have been when Deception took them up on their offer and abandoned Rage to the streets. He started off on the low end of the totem pole, but Deception did show a lot of potential among the other recruits. He doesn't think of himself as all that important in Macavity's Henches, it's more so the independence he gets in the tribe that appeals to him the most. After a few years of being among the Henches, he as since been reunited with Admetus, and finds it amusing that Admetus acts more like him then Rage(his own twin) does.
RP Sample: Deception laughed as he dodged a punch headed for his jaw. He knew his younger brother liked to take hits as much as he liked giving them, but Deception preferred to win his battles, by any means necessary. He was laughing the whole time his opponent tried getting another hit in. This tom was or was soon to be the laughing stock of whatever pitiful gang he was in. With one forceful headbutt to the smaller and weaker toms face, Dece watched him crumple to the ground. He chuckled darkly,"Sodddin' prick." Something wasn't quite right, however, there was something missing. Looking around, he spotted several flowers in bloom along the grass beside the street. Picking several, he mushed some of them and sprinkled the petals around his fallen victim. The last flower he placed in the toms mane. "There ya go, princess. Nice little gift for your pathetic gang to come home to." Winking at the unconscious form, he strolled off as though he had just finished eating lunch with a friend.
