Name: Macavity
Gender: Male
Age: Adult, late twenties/early thirties
Tribe: HenchCat
Tribe Position: Leader
Family: Tugger, Munkustrap (half siblings), Old Deuteronomy (father)
Appearance:
Note: He has dreads
Human Appearance:
(Aaron Johnson)
Personality: Oh where to start with good ol’ Macavity? The most evident thing about the ginger cat is his intelligence, which on the occasion can border on slight obsession. As soon as Macavity sets his sights on something that he wants he is determined to get it and his mind will run a million miles a minute thinking of scenario after scenario of exactly how to get it. He’s devious and has a general lack of morals so he is willing to get what he wants be whatever means are necessary and in his schemes always makes sure that there is a way for him to come out of everything. The fact that he had a very cruel side tends to help this too.
Describing word: Devious
History: Macavity had always been different from the cats around him even as a kit he was always a little bit rougher, harder to handle and always had his sights set on bigger things. As a kit most others ignored him as he talked of how the tribe could be stronger, better. That they were settling for less. Nearly everyone ignore him, everyone except for Demeter and so he formed an attachment to the queen that remained as he grew older. She listened to him and he believed that she supported his ideas.
In adolescence he was exiled from the tribe after numerous warning and misbehaviour that went beyond the normal adolescent rebellion. Macavity was enraged and his ambition changed from helping the Jellicles to becoming better than them. Slowly he started to build his reputation, his crimes becoming more devious as his mind darkened and became more sinister. He started to gather other cats creating his tribe of HenchCats, they would rise above the Jellicles. He offered a spot in the tribe to those that he deemed to be worthy, generally going for the crueler, tougher and more sinister ones.
Finally he believed himself and his tribe to be able to overpower the Jellicles, but had underestimated them resulting in his defeat. During his attack he tried to reach Demeter only to fail and see that she was truly a Jellicle, that she was one of them. Now enraged with the results he is focused on expanding his territory and strengthening his Henches.
RP Sample: The ginger tom paced in what served as his office. He needed to strengthen the Henches, he needed crueler cats, cats who were, like him, willing to do what had to be done even if it resulted in blood or crime. He sneered at most of the cats in the warehouse. Some of them only able to take orders, ones that shook when they faced him. Spineless cowards. He needed more.
With a flick on his head he moved the dread that had fallen into his face. They were the result of his neglect of his fur, seeing little point to spending time pruning and primping himself to look ‘proper’. He paused for a second. Neglect. Neglected ones often turned hostile, anger coursing through their veins and cruelty in their nature. Those were the cats he needed.
Comments: I blame this all on x2
