((sorry I feel Stokley should drop in )) Stokley looked down at her brother bitting her lip with anticipation; to pounce or not to pounce that was the question... until the trash she was crouching on gave way then there was no question- she was going down! She landed on her stomach just missing her brother her arms and legs sprawled. "That hurt... that hurt so so much..." She said her face against the ground sounding emotionless.

"What did?" Ari asked absently, before looking up and seeing his sister. "Huh? How'd you get there?" He was annoyed that his reading kept getting interrupted.

"I fell and landed on my face." She replied bluntly, "I just decided to drop in. I didn't realize I was going to be so literal about it..." She stood up dusting herself off, "So... what'cha doing?" Stokley asked Ari, "Reading a book as always I can see."

"Yes, reading a book," Aristophanes agreed. "We were just discussing," nodding at Extwo and Kitanellie, "why this human is throwing bones around."

"Hi, Stokely," Nellie mumbled shyly. "Aristophanes was reading us his book, it's quite interesting." Her misty blue eyes became wider with kittenish anticipation for the story to begin. One of her favourite things was to listen to cats tell her stories of any kind. Though she never was much good at telling them herself. She always seemed to trip on the words and say the wrong things, and tell them out of order. They never turned out quite right coming from her, she much preferred to hear one told to her.

"Throwing bones around?" Stokley raised a brow at him, "Why on earth would a human be doing that?"

"That's what I'm trying to find out," Ari sighed. "But I can't if everyone keeps talking..."

"Shh!" Nellie squealed excitedly. She covered her mouth with her paws. "It's getting good!"

"Oh yes, reading about humans throwing bones around sounds exciting." Stokley remarked sarcastically.

Aristophanes ground his teeth. "If we knew the context of the story, it might be. Which is what I'm trying to find out, which is why I'm trying to read it from the beginning," he said pointedly. He glanced at the page. "It would seem that there's a ghost involved..."

"Ooh, a ghost? What happens in the beginning?" Nellie scooted closer to Ari.

Extwo hadn't had the faintest idea what the others were talking about, and had just been moving her head back and forth as each of them said their peace. The other tom look...wierd, and being blissfully unaware, she had to ask. "What's a ghost?"

Aristophanes slapped his paw against his forehead."Everlasting Cat help me," he muttered. "It's a dead person that comes back and scares people," he told Extwo.

"Like someone's soul." Stokley replied. "Hey, I know you. I met you over at the gates..." Stokley eyed her suspicously, "Where are you from?"

Her eyes leapt out of their sockets. "No! I don't want to hear that....That'sss....scary!" She had jumped to her feet and was cowering behind Stokley. She was bigger, and older, seemed like a good idea. She looked at her with tears rimming the lids of her eyes. "Huh?"
