1. NO BULLYING
- Do not trash other peoples beliefs, ideas or role-playing. Ever.
If you are being bullied, or bothered, contact the Admin. (X2, Moonstruck)
2. PROPER GRAMMAR
- Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation is key to a good role-play.
- Do not use short forms, such as 'u' instead of 'you'
- Always capitalize names and 'I'.
- Be sure to use quotations for dialogue ("Yay!")
- Never end a sentence without a period, question mark, exclamation point, or '...'.
3. OUT OF CHARACTER TEXT
- Unless you are in 'Information and Rules' or 'Member Section', be sure to use double brackets around your text.
Ex: ((Good idea!))
4. EXITING CHARACTERS
- If your character is leaving a thread, be sure to put [EXIT 'CHARACTER NAME'] at the end of your post.
5. DEAD THREADS
- If everyone is finished with a thread, put [DEAD] at the end of it. This way, a staff member can move it to 'Dead Threads'.
6. CONTENT
- We are not to post threads or comments that could lead to a personal offence or arguments.
- Things such as Sexuality, Religon, Sex in general and Drugs etc should not be discussed here.
- Also keep personal matters to yourself. It really doesn't need to be posted on here.
- Post with moderation, please.
7. NON-MODING
- Non-Moding is people who are not staff or the admin trying to boss everyone around. This is NOT allowed, or accepted.
- Changing major plot lines, pointing out other people's mistakes or faults, etc, are examples of this.
- DO NOT DO THIS
- However, doing this in a friendly, critiquing way, is okay. Just be aware of your words.
8. GOING AWAY
- Of course, everyone has a life outside of the internet.
- If you need to leave for a few days, or a few weeks, even a month or two, we understand!
- You need to make a 'Going Away' thread in the 'Going Away' section so we all know how long to expect your absence to be.
- If you would like your character to be temporarily played by some other member, contact the admins (Moon, x2) and that can be arranged.
9. ACTIVITY
-There are certain main characters of BOTH tribes that are needed to be played more actively in order to keep plots and side plots moving. Moon and X2 will be contacting the members of these characters to inform them. However, we expect these characters to be posted at LEAST once every two weeks. The only exceptions to this rule is if you have nothing to reply to, or if you have posted or PMed the admins that you will be gone for any length of time. (Note, if you are gone for a set period of time and your character is needed, Moon or X2 WILL temporarily post your character until your return. This is only for the key players of the two tribes.)
-All members are required to post ALL of their characters at least once a month, to show you are still active with your characters, this goes for Canon's and OCs alike. If you fail to post one or more of your characters within a month, you will receive a PM warning you that you character(s) need to be posted within a week of the warning. Failure to post within that time, will be the immediate removal of said character. Some characters don't get posted or get lost in the shuffle, this rule is to keep the active characters on the board and clean out the characters that aren't. (There are two exceptions to this rule, if your character(s) are in a thread but have nothing to reply to, or if you have posted that you will be away or PMed one of the Admins.)
-PLEASE NOTE;
-We understand that there is life outside the internet. If you are busy or having a bad time of things, please let us know, we will work with you, so you don't lose your characters. And so you don't stress out about this place as well as your real life. But if you do not intend to return, it's unfair for others to be left hanging. Which is why it's important to at least PM a staff member. (X2, or Moon)
