Alright, Moon and I have discussed it, and Dodd's (Stubinz) OC's are going to be turned into playable NPCs. Anyone, ANYONE can bring the following characters into a thread to further it along or for some small purpose, before exiting the characters out of the thread once you are done using them. They will follow the basic rules of NPCs. However, no one is allowed to kill off any of the following NPCs without express permission from both Moon and Myself. While I will provide the link to the playable characters applications below, I am going to give a brief example of how these NPCs can be used. You can refer to their original applications, if you intend to bring any of these characters into a thread. No one is expecting you to be able to follow exactly how the character is set up, which is why I'm giving a possible example below of how these characters can be used.
-Owen: Owen is a Librarian cat located within the city. If you have a thread where you need information, then Owen would be a good NPC to be a street contact that the Jellicles, and the Henches can go to. However, Owen won't give valuable intel away for free, so be sure you have a way to compensate him.
-Peanut Butter: Peanut Butter, aka PB, is a very rambunctious male kitten. As he would be mostly playing with other kittens, he can enter a thread as such, or enter a thread as a bit of a messenger. If a character needs a healer or protector for instance, PB could enter briefly and be told to go get one for said character.
-Stubinz: Stubinz is an old tom, and is said to either be a mystic who can talk to the dead, or a madman. He could be used in threads with those with unfinished business, or with cats that need spiritual guidance. For any cat that believes he has actual abilities, and isn't simply mad, could go to him if they've had someone close to them pass.
-Haversham: Haversham is another older tom, that also says very little. He could be used in threads when any type of character is in dire need of some sage old advice. While he says very little, what he does say will be important and impact-ful. So if you need someone to point your character in the right direction, Haversham would be a good choice to briefly throw into your thread.
-Manfredd: Manfredd is a tall, muscular tower of a tom. He is a Hench cat, that isn't smart, but is loyal to a fault. Anyone in need of a loyal and obedient Enforcer involved in a thread, Manny would be the perfect NPC to throw in. He'll follow any instructions Macavity or someone higher up then him, gives him. And any jellicle that needs some Enforcer intervention, for good or ill, can use Manny as well. If Manny had been told to injure so and so, he will. If he's had no instructions and see's a cat in trouble, he will go over and help. He's only as evil as the one holding his metaphorical leash.
-Grumbuskin: Grum is an ex-pirate who use to work for Growltiger. He has since been taken in and saved by the jellicles and working to redeem himself of all the deeds he performed under the rule of Growltiger. He has his own sense of honor and currently works alongside the Protectors of the tribe. If there is ever a need of a Protector, either for rescuing/guarding, or on the Hench side; fighting, etc, then Grum would be a good NPC to throw into a thread.
-Rytt: Rytt is a broken tom who uses humor as a defense mechanism. You need some comic relief, or just need a random jellicle to do a small task or to send a message, then go ahead and throw Rytt into the thread and then back out again. He is a long time friend of Deuteronomy and Gus, so that could be used somehow as well. For example, if Deuteronomy is needed or if someone needs Deuteronomy to answer some question/concern, Rytt could be used as a middleman. As Canon's cannot be used as NPCs.
This is a list of potential ideas for these characters, just a guidebook, not the law. Also with NPCs, if an actual PLAYABLE character can be used instead; for example one of Moon's characters are free and she's been looking to put them in a thread for a while. Ask her first before you use one of these playable NPCs. Enjoy and have fun. Dodd wouldn't want it any other way.
