So, while taking a break/mulling over what else to write in my charrie bios, and after rediscovering my ancient Photobucket account, I got inspired to start a thread of facepaint pics. A couple of 'em are a few years old, but most are from this year, because the Broadway revival has got me crazy excited.

My sister's and my attempted Mungojerrie/Rumpelteazer. We sang their song for a talent show! Most folk looked confused yet pleased. XD I can't even recall the year at the moment...2011/2012 maybe.

So, George's makeup made it into the Broadway revival, but was used for Pouncival.
There was some outrage over this.
But...he's so adorable. I just pretend George is his human pet/everyday name. Never knew much about the real George to begin with, just love his facepaint.

Ah these are fantastic Ellie! I am always so impressed with people who can do the face painting. I cannot do anything like that. And George...my love! <3 (How I love thee) I'm conflicted over them using George's markings as Pouncival...as his character was properly retired when the actor playing him left the show. But a part of me wants him to come back even if it's only a little piece...

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about this. But you did a fantastic job on George/Pounce's makeup.

Awww thanks x2. I was wondering how you'd feel about the whole George/Pounce situation, since I seem to remember you being quite fond of George. ^^ I never knew much about him. Had no idea his character actually got 'retired'!

Yeah, he was a swing character played by actor George...(his last name eludes me this late at night) and he played George I believe for 12 or more years. And they named the character after him. So when he left, they retired the character as well. But I think I'd rather they revived George as his own character instead of morphing Pouncival and George together. But I can understand why they wouldn't, as Pounce was far more popular and more loved.

UPDATE: While musing over Lonzi's profile...

Pouncival (Carbuckety in the revival and probably other productions as well, I lose track of how much these two get switched around) Didn't exactly have the correct colour for his patch, but oh well.

It was Halloween, so I put on the only unitard and wig I have and cosplayed uh...Pounce cosplaying Munkustrap as a practical joke?





Copenhagen Alonzo...or "Spidey-Face Alonzo," as I've called him ever since seeing the picture years ago... XD







Troika Tugger...had to do this one eventually since he was the first version of Tugger I ever saw live on stage <3 <3 I actually posted some of these on instagram and Dave Schoonover actually "liked" them! *Gasp*! (That kind of thing is legit one of the only reasons I even get on social media XD)

Paris Pouncival - adore the French cast album and been meaning to try some of the makeup for a while. This was fun! The foreign productions (and even the Troika tour) look complex, but it's actually WAAAAY easier to hide mistakes than with, say, the film versions. XD
