Name: Blazeility (Blaze-ale-itee)
Gender: Female
Age: Young Adult (Older than an "adolescent" but not a mature "adult.")
Tribe: Jellicle
Family: Her parents are far away in the Cotswolds of Oxford, she is unaware of any siblings that she may have.
Appearance:
Personality: Blazeility loves a good thrill, whether running from danger, exploring the unknown, or testing her limits. She is full of life and seemingly boundless energy. This excessive energy is well displayed in her dancing and her mostly successful attempts of athleticism and agility.
She likes to try to make others laugh, and strives to be likeable. Yet, if she is in less than a pleasant mood or situation, Blazeility will lace her speech with sarcasm. Blazeility does not have great patience when it comes to blatant stupidity, so, if she feels she can get away with it, she will speak out against it. Since she has gone for years without any family-type influence in her life she looks up to the older queens, watching how they act and react.
Faults: In her efforts to try to be funny, Blazeility can become slightly annoying. Her sarcastic tongue has gotten her in trouble before especially when she isn't careful with what she says. The most prominent fault is that she can take things too seriously or literally. For example, if Blazeility walked by a friend who was lost in his thoughts and did not make eye contact or reply to her quiet greeting, she would most likely think that her friend was upset with her.
Describing word: Enthusiastic
History: The first kitten of Jozallie and Carlone, Blazeility enjoyed a pampered first couple of years in her family's Cotswold den. Having grown up in the quiet country, she had no idea how rough city life would be until, as a young kitten exploring the nearby town, she was "rescued" by some visiting humans who took her to live with them in London. Scared and feeling torn from her family she escaped from an open window soon after her arrival.
It wasn't long until her romantic idea of everyday being an adventure was washed away by the cold reality of the ever-present dangers on the streets. She soon became malnourished and miserable;not having any finesse with living the street life. After many years, she scratched out a meager existence, gaining a few skills for survival. Blazeility learned to hunt, hide, and fight. Although she did not exactly excel at these tasks, it was enough to keep her alive. Upon hearing of the Jellicle's and their Junkyard, she went on her way to join them.
Blazeility's days by herself on the streets of London are a dark memory for her. She did not become "street hardened" but "street sickened." After having to push herself through hunger, freezing nights, and the ill treatment from her fellow cats, she has become passionate towards those who are unfortunate and equally dispassionate towards those who take things for granted. She is excited at the prospect of being a part of the Jellicle tribe, feeling hopeful that she might not have to live on her own any longer.
RP Sample: Blazeility's quest to find the Jellicle's home started when she found temporary refuge in a garden shed. This did not go unnoticed by the neighboring clan, and after a several tense moments they chose to let her be, but only for the night. One member stayed afterwards and spoke of a place where she just might be welcome. It captured Blazeility's imagination. After being alone for so long, the thought of being among other cats made her heart beat faster. The very next day, she set out find this place of hope.
As first rays of dawn danced into the misty ground, the morning light found Blazeility already awake and on the move. All of her muscles ached from the heavy amount of traveling she had been doing recently, but she barely noticed. Her attention was focused on her surroundings.
But as she paced on with no detection of danger, her mind wandered, "What will happen if they don't accept me? What if everything I've heard about the Jellicles is a lie?" She stopped in her tracks and gave her head a quick shake.
"Just keep moving, Blaze, just keep moving," she thought. With a huff of determination, the orange queen pushed herself into a brisk jog towards the next avenue.
