I'm actually quite content with the changes you've made. There is still one thing I'm not entirely sure about, I will wait to see what Moon has to say about it.
But the fact that his consciousness can dissolve into the "other realm" and be mostly like a ghost. I do like the fact that other spirits can invade his body when he's in a weakened state. But it reads more like a possession. It would make more sense as a possession. That way you could RP him more like the spirit is inside his body, trying to convince/force him to do something he doesn't want to.
Also, I think Solus gaining the strengths and abilities of whichever spirit takes over him, allows for godmodding, and could potentially make him an almost invincible character. Which is not something we allow on this board.
